Congrats @leplubodeslapin, it’s one of the games I’m most looking forward to ![]()
I only wish the art was more stylised (particularly the world textures).

Just saw the latest Gamescom trailer and realised nobody has apparently posted what looks like a modern beat’em’up with fancy hand-to-hand combat.
If I understand correctly it uses the concept of an ageing fighter, whom over time becomes more skilled, a bit like one of those Remnant games.
A game that “recreates” the Daredevil hallway combat scene should grab your attention.
Epic and PlayStation exclusive atm.

So much love guys ? well I only just managed to slain my second troll in God of War… I need to finish this game before starting anything else. As for daily it’s an ambitious objective, I struggle getting the chance to play two nights in a row! Last night I set to do it and was falling asleep pad in hand ?
Crossover expansion
Marvel doesn’t break the Internet anymore, or am I just off the news cycle that I find this stuff accidentally
Fair enough the panels look bigger than on a normal screen and overall it looks elegant, but I’m not sure about the usability of dragging stuff across a screen this wide, also having to actually focus and turn your head/attention to the side to navigate the main menu and inventory doesn’t seem pleasant. I’m not sure this is what I would call “adapting to a wide screen”… there are reasons why web pages waste all the space at the sides of the screen.

I do, some ? haven’t played much and as regularly, but just look at the what are you playing topic
It’s mostly that I’d like to play on the TV, and despite I have a gaming laptop, I can never be arsed to move it in the living room unless I’m playing LEGO with my partner ?
For MGS, I never had a PS before the 4, and tried MGS1 for PC after I had played Splinter Cell, so I wrote off the franchise as too clunky back then. I did buy Ground Zeroes to try and see the modern experience tho, but haven’t got round to it, other priorities.

Definitely, that point is when I expect a spike in adoption. I was really tempted to get the untethered Oculus at some point, then i read about all the facebook integration policies and that was a no-no. Sad some companies are making exclusive titles for Oculus
wish Valve supported studios like Ready At Dawn.
Next step, have some contact pins with the device to jack in with the brain chips GabeN is working on with his son ![]()
If there is one soundtrack to rule them all, I’d say Snake Eater… I haven’t even played the damn game(s)!
C&C Generals (official)
There are rumours that this could be for Valve a test bench for creating a fully integrated VR headset
If offset doesn’t work for you, I was linking @7:10
Sounds like these System Shock titles are having a messy development ? hope they come through the other side (a-ha) alright.
All this talk is making me want to lose my Deus Ex virginity. I was planning to just play the titles by Eidos, but mmh…
there is also an indie game heavily inspired by Deus Ex in development under the 3D Realms umbrella (or whatever it’s called these days)
Same for me what Minos said… you using a post-process filter/setting to achieve the new look?
Was the camera less than $900 @Minos?

That's what I thought as well when I read it... but GTA (4-onwards) is kinda distinctive for its physics-driven animation system, it would be weird to remaster them just for the graphics, and ignore* the "feel" of character movement we are now used to.
*Ignore in the sense I don't expect you can replicate that feel as closely on a completely different engine, and if you can... then what's the point on continuing developing the newer games on the RAGE engine.
~
btw what's the censorship on Steam? I have the original PC releases, GTA4 on Xbox, and GTA5 on Steam.
Fantastic job on this one! This was one of the prime sources of content when I was web mastering HLItalia ?
In terms of content to post I might have something to add… I used to collect all of these shots for reference/inspiration. I should have a bunch of shots from Nightwatch @FMPONE… I need to find in which HDD they’re stored (and hopefully the disk is not bust, I know one backup drive seemed definitely fucked).
maybe hide the solution to the puzzle @0kelvin ![]()
Finished the BF4 campaign last week… I found weird the progression, to me it felt it was progressively easier instead of challenging. The way I remember it is an easy rollercoaster punctuated by some frustrating situations. (I played the second hardest difficulty I think.) There are many beautiful set pieces in terms of location and combat options, but a shame destruction doesn’t come to play in SP.
~ Last night I started God of War, it’s so beautiful I feel like we didn’t need a next gen yet, considering it had a couple years on its back, you’d want to see a couple more games squeezing the platform like this.
Haven’t got used to the combat yet, I was expecting it to be more loose and fast, atm it feels more like Ryse –at least at the second-hardest difficulty– I had to replay the first encounter more times I would have expected.
Is it structured like a hub world? Seems like there were a couple paths to wander off, the one with the first wolves I abandoned after dying.
They’ve made a promo
