I accidentally discovered there’s a BW version that has been released. Not sure if is included in special DVD, but I found it on NowTV, Sky’s Netflix.

I’ve put it in my list, gives me a “serious” reason to watch it again.

After that botched attempt some time ago I haven’t tried using Faceit anymore, despite playing several hours.

This posts remind me to try again… although I’m concerned there will be just an incredibly long wait time for nothing you happen

This is real scary, something that should be prominently reported, like Minos says, a country with incredible resources can still manage to be shit at their resources management and create a crisis.

Italy has always done well in terms of water, I grew up with the pride that we were creating a lot of power with water... yet all that is still for nothing when climate changes and you face droughts. For as good as north italy does, Southern italy always had problems, I watched documentaries about farmers being ruined by increasing droughts and providing rationed water to the islands is no strange news in the worse draughts (which were often followed by terrible monsoons and floods).

Was coming to post about this, didn't notice the topic in the past days; just watched the first episode.

I have been waiting for Netflix to release this title and... for starters I thought was one of their exclusive movies (production seems too high for a series), also feels like the teaser was deciving. I mean I'm not swept away yet.

Never heard of the novel, but the art direction seems too Blade Runner-y. At the same time there's the contrasting feeling of connection with Demolition Man because of the story. The whole feels quite un-original

I made my first simple island. The video has a lower resolution than HD but it's good enough for a first attempt.

I've started a new job Tuesday.

Junior Technical Project Manager in the web department a publishing company.

Hopefully this means I won't have to clean a room or wash plates ever again... but I'm very bummed by the commute. Had to buy a car, which I was trying to avoid, and it's not 50 min like Google was saying, but 1h 20m. Tiring, "dangerous" and costy. Since I'm still getting contacted by agencies for jobs will definitely stay on the look out.

I also got in contact with a game developer and designing a logo for his game engine.

August is far, but who's gonna watch this? Looks very high budget.

FC2-3-4 came with an easy editor, surely had lots of players (we know they are hits) but I’ve never heard of a modding community posting maps (feels even Crysis created more interest).

This is a thing with most of the games that allow for customisation. It's quite sad that devs spwmd time to put tools out and few get into that; but unless you are very hungry to try different techs or in love with a game, you don't get involved... while it would be quite logical choice for those that want a job in the industry, as it becomes easier to get noticed in a less crowded scene.

Yeah I’m with you on the Source 2 @will2k, who knows when it and if will come out at all – knowing Valve they could very well change mind. But if it comes out even with no direct modding support, there’s to wonder if they would streamine/make it easier (for adopters) to publish on Steam, that would be an incentive.

Couldn’t watch live as well and started with the recording this morning (last day off)… unfortunately I got a spoiler on the winners because of thumbnails on YT and Twitter, despite how much you try to scroll past notifications.

My biggest surprise is that I was expecting to be a best of 5 game, so was very surprised when map 1 didn’t go as I expected. More fun this way tho!

What a semi-final between SK and Cloud 9! C9 have been very solid from the start, I was really impressed by their earlier matches but didn't think at all they would get to the finals! (Neither the experts. even n0thing was favoring another team in a previous match -- despite that I still put them down as possible winners at the beginning of the tournament, so supporting them tonight, they would give me a nice return on my cheap £2 bet :D). I'm not sure what it is, but seems like despite the talent of n0thing and Shroud, they are much better off now. They seem very confident and assertive, imposing their game instead of reacting.

Completely unrelated, wanted to ask something to those that know the game well @FMPONE @Vaya @General Vivi...? See the screenshot below -- I was playing the other night and there was a player showing up as "unconnected" and when he was killing someone, it appeared as a suicide (see my highlights). I was wondering if that is some sort of cheat or some actual connection issue... but it looked like there was mad reaction time, I would barely have the time to register the guy was there, and I was instantly dead. Not that he was unkillable though.

The other weird thing is that you couldn't report him in any way because you couldn't click his profile, it was greyed out in the leaderboard.
