Fux, i was catching up and getting into it (was at the "eastworld" episode) and when I went to watch another ep couple days ago, it was gone from NowTV hophope coms back soon as boxset with first season, gf seems interested and I'd be up to rewatch all from the beginning (I actually had considered)

This video explains the game mechanics, so it's story driven but the world is procedural. (Permadeath is an option.) Ambitious!

Maybe it has been taking all this time because they are evaluating to expand the IP to somethings like a movie or tv show ?

Season 8 should be out between April and June 2019, and the prequel serie "The Long Night" (set waaaay before in the timeline) about same period(?) 2020. They had 3-4-5 more prequels they were considering but seems like they aren't going anywhere for now.

love this style, and imo there are some references/callbacks at so much of the pop culture, like the bot seems to me to be inspired by Wheatley from Portal 2 (there's a straight up reference to Star Wars involving this bot as well) and the sci-fi aspect I think takes even from Interstellar.

I meant to post weeks ago, but I have finally finished IT.

I bought it right away after the trailer of the new movie came out, and was my intention to read it before the movie was in cinemas -- which at 1300+ pages meant 12 ppd-- unfortunately I was disciplined for very short time and read only on my weekly commute to my gf and when on holiday so took me almost exactly 1 year ?

I'm not sure why it is so revered, basically as the best book by King. I like the structure, jumping between present and past, but I can't say I was captivated as much as other books of King. In general I always preferred his short stories tbh, while reading I was mentally thinking of all the content that I was finding padding that detracted from suspense. It got very good when the story had progressed, but I found the ending quite underwhelming. I struggled to picture it very much and just find the reveal jarring toward what you think IT is.

One thing I can say, it brought me back to my high-school days when I read several of King's books (which convinced me to take a stab at writing myself).

FYI Dwayne Johnson has been attached to play Black Adam for years... I haven't heard rumours of him being in this movie, probably they'll do origin story and the second film will see The Rock fighting him

I just still struggle to understand if is a classic game in terms of progression, or something like a rogue-like mechanic... mainly because the early access purchase option that was available until recently, and I can't understand how a traditional narrative SP game can be spoiled by early access. They say there are three storylines but...
