Yes the Definitive Edition trailer was mentioning this, I digged the old topic and posted the trailer there when it came out.
Since will be a while before I get the sequel, I think I’ll still get the Definitive Edition. Also my understanding is that all special missions, elusive targets etc, are available only in the original gam, they haven’t mentioned them in connection of these remastered maps for the sequel (but fact check me)

Well of course timings are not exactly like the full version, and I don't think they should. To me seems right that if T rush, CT see them one corner before. I like the way the brackets split and you can use utility to challenge or fake/disguise your movement.
Whilst Nuke you spawn and you basically play inside the bombsite? Don't find that fun at all, especially with the vent opening changed. (That works in the full version.)

Yeah, that guy is great, love the animations. Giving great feeling to weapons wouldn't be so hard, I think is the easy part of the job, but the problem really lies with AI.
Surely there have been many advancements in this time, but not sure if we'll see something that will feel challenging, I mean in general. Maybe I talk like this because I haven't played enough recent SP games, but don't think so.
I need to play this again. Digging the changes, although I liked the back of the site being open.

Not sure, you meet at mid choke and if CT don't see them they go boiler and meet in apts as it happens in the full map? To me it looks natural given the layout. Not sure if you mean CT shouldn't spawn on bombsite, but there are many sites in the game that CT play "in front" of the site.

Well yeah, it's a hard map for attacking Ts, that's for sure, both in de_ and wm_. Utility is very important to succeed. Trying to take the site from apts is scary and jumping out feels like a leap of faith; what I mean is that considering all these things you mentioned, the map plays well in WM for my experience... imo better than other maps, like Nuke.
Not saying is perfect, just that for something cropped out of the main map, I find it to work surprisingly well. Of course I long for something designed on purpose 
or I wouldn't have pimped the contest.

I most times had good experiences on Inferno, never heard before your post that A-site has problems… considering is most often the deciding map in pro tournaments ?
Rialto is very unimaginative and clearly a repurposed bit scrapped from Canals, but I’ve manages to make it work, as well as getting a beating from amore capable Ts. I found the apartment to be a good option to mix things up from time to time against CT constantly playing same positions or pushing.
For my experience, Nuke is the worst of all WM maps.
ALways said from day one that HL2 gunplay was crap. It felt as if the AI had stepped back from HL and they had to make the enemy sponges+guns very imprecise to make it the least challenging.
Not sure how people would feel by changing a lot this aspect, but we are “lucky” that many years have passed and doing different things should be easier, a bit like with the introduction of physics gameplay.
I would lean toward something more “realistic” and “survival”, less fights, harder fights.
I do not want to see this switched to VR as I still want some shooting elements and don’t want this very fake experience of teleporting around instead of walking and exploring.
Yeah Rialto is surprisingly fun, I disliked it when I first saw it, but after a while, its simplicity works. I also really like how WM Inferno works. I think Lake works as well, thanks for the original design for 1 bombsite and is really fun giving the option to snipe/go round outside, or play mind games opening and closing doors in the house. Makes me think that Insertion would work well for the mode.
Maybe Wingman outta steer off the bomb concept? Planting happens rarely, and I've played with players who told me not to plant and just go for the kills. Seems like planting is more a baiting mechanism, whether in Competitive is much more relevant.
Another thing I like of Wingman is that using lesser weapons than the standard AR/sniper seems the best thing to do, due to smaller environments and the very easy turn on economy. Like @FMPONE was saying in his stream, the economy in the CS_ mode seems broken, maybe is not right for Wingman as well.

So Justice League recently got added to NowTV and I gave it a go... well what to say.
I don't think is crap like Batman v Superman, where the script was mostly nonsense, but this was... I dunno, irrelevant. Feels like nothing is really happening throughout the whole movie. The antagonist is a "destroyer of worlds" but Superman owns him easy. Flash is annoying (and I think Ezra Miller was a totally wrong casting choice, don't like him, the voice is super-annoying); Batman is basically useless, where was the only good thing in BvS.
The scenography I didn't like at all... just some shit tentacles going everywhere, this apocalyptic scenario, why were there still people living in that place away from anything and probably polluted in radiations?
I liked the ending, in the sense how the minions behave with their master.
With even Geoff Johns stepping down from an overseeing role for these movies, the DCU seems doomed to fail apart from Wonder Woman films. I totally dislike the Aquaman trailer that came out, I could never stand Zac Levy that is the lead on Shazam, which is also generally a too childish movie for my taste.
Ben Affleck just went into rehab for alcoholism(!) so I think that's a wrap for him in the Batman role, he already was skeptical in doing anything else since the solo movie was taking forever to develop. It's a shame, I hope he gets well for good, because I think he's a very fine director.

Ah is actually a month old news but i inly heard around ComiCon Disney has formalised and has been cleared to acquire Fox. So in the coming years Marvel should work stuff like Fantastic 4 in their current MCU, making the Illuminati thing and Secret Wars has been mentioned by the Russos.
But obvs this will take quite some time as surely Marvel needs a slam dunk when they bring their version of such battered characters to screen.
Also seems like it's already been said Deadpool will not be affected and they will keep doing their thing on the side (probably with more access to characters).

With the Fox-Disney deal official, these should be the consequences:
all Marvel content will be pulled from Netflix (except the Defenders series which apparently Netflix bought), everything that has ever come out will be on Disney's streaming service, the service probably offered as a mega-bundle that includes Hulu, where they would put R-rated content like Deadpool
I hope Valve is seriously considering a 50-50 split and attention for Wingman in the next Operation (or whatever will be). I think it would be great to get more people playing it, community can do a great job and ultimately with a decent pool of original maps, I would love to see pro 2v2 matches.
Contests like this could be fundamental in achieving this objective.
