He used a VR controller for the camera movement to get that natural "casual phone recording" feel.

@sn0wsh00I have no experience with the NLA editor myself, but would recommend asking for advice from users at blenderartists.
Boom, another release is here:

They'd need to bring the first 3 to the same engine as U4, not exactly a copy paste straightforward thing to do, but who knows maybe it's what they're doing while the pandemic still lasts. It'd be the perfect WFH task to hand over to the team for a couple years, tbh.
Yeah, didn't assume it would be just a copy paste job. What I'm thinking is that they have all 3 games running on PS4, so the leap to PC shouldn't be as huge as porting from the PS3 versions.....and if they're introducing the series to a new platform, it would make sense to have the first parts too, especially as the characters are developed quite a bit in the original trilogy.

First game has received so many post launch updates, that I have no doubt that this will hold true. (even if the schedule might change.)
I don't think Valve is available for purchase...they have a steady nearly passive cash flow...why sell?
I don't care much for any of their IPs, but I'm getting a bit worried about this insane consolidation.
At this rate Microsoft will soon own like half of the AAA game industry. ?

Damn.
There's numbers like 70 billion thrown around.
Looking forward to MetaAnimals next. ?
This came out of nowhere ?
This might give some insight to "what took so long?!" & "Why does it look like that?"
If you wait long enough, you’ll be able to buy an even better headset from Valve or one of the other top VR brands. There’s a lot of rumors going around right now regarding nextgen lenses and micro oled displays.
Afaik one of Remedy's projects called Vanguard is based on UE, but the rest should all be Northlight based.
Their tech has always been fairly competent, so don’t really see any reason they should abandon it.

This demo has surprisingly much of interactivity considering it’s done by a 50-70 people team in a year. They have a new AI system that allows simulating thousands of NPCs and each car crash is unique thanks to their new choas physics system.
DF goes into detail about whats up:
