Also, as the link to ValveTime points out, a special GTTV episode focused around Valve is airing smack bang in the middle of Gamescom on the 17th. Valve are being very busy lately, why not throw an announcement for HL3 into the works too? One can hope! emoticons/default_mapcore_smilies/emot_grinyay.gif

Yeah I used war since I was going to be making a map for a shooter (TF2) and since people are generally shooting at each other in a war I thought it might be a good idea to look at their defences and tactics and see what I could use within the level.

Can't say I enjoy close quarters, it's just not Battlefield to me without the open maps That said they are very pretty maps.

Waiting for Armoured Kill but I still pretty much play this daily if I can fit it in.

What I tend to do is stick to one weapon on a class until I've unlocked everything for it.

Did you read any of my dissertation at all? Any ways you think I could improve or expand upon anything? How did you do in your dissertation and what was the result in the end?

I'm still looking forward to it. I'm sure the game will be great. Visually at least it looks pretty damn good. The video was a bit dark, but that might just be the video. All of the other stuff they've released looks great.

As for the voice acting, I doubt there will be that many instances of stuff like this. It's not the best voice acting but it's just something extra for the player to listen to before they shoot them in the back of the head.
