Edit - T side actually. So not so bad
NaVi had an awesome first 6 rounds on CT. Was beautiful to watch.
Quote from text_fishDid GuardiaN say his mum died last night? I was only half paying attention and nobody seems to have mentioned it since but he looked really sad!
I hope that's not true ![]()
Yeah voted for Fnatic, Envy, NiP and VP. Should be pretty straight forward but would love to see the lower teams put up a good fight.
First game between Envy and NaVi is about to start http://www.twitch.tv/esl_csgo

They all have stat tracking and/or ranks, which are necessary for effective match making and progress tracking anyway.
That and I'm sure the community is toxic enough to let you know how they feel about your skill anyway mid game
Well the few times I've played in casual, when I was in top three I was called a cheater, and when I was the last one against 3 enemies and I got killed I was called a noob, so the feedback feels unreliable to the biggest extent!
Casual is like that. Matchmaking can be better if you get matched with nice people, sometimes they'll help you out and such. Lately I've just not had a good experience on there though.
Just played my first game on Faceit and was matched with people pretty close to my skill level I felt which was nice. I'm sure the game will get better after I play more so looking forward to it
Feel free to invite me to a game if I'm around.
I'll sign up to faceit. Is there a way I can add you guys to friends there?
Edit: Just signed up here: https://www.faceit.com/players/Ren182
Quote from marksTry to remember that typically, your level of play is variable. You might just be having an "off-week" or two.
Yeah I know. Shit happens and sometimes you just can't hit a barn at point blank range. But when that barn has 16 hours of play and is stomping you it is a bit disheartening ![]()
Quote from SotaPoikaI recommend ditching that Valve MM and going for PUG @ FaceIt/ESEA/etc., because indeed Valve MM is just horrible with all the smurfs and cheaters. I'm getting totally owned by some 29h guys, I wonder how I managed to waste my ~900h and be this shit.
Yeah, I have been meaning to give something like Faceit a go lately.
Thing is I have heard a lot of people complaining about cheaters and smurfs online for a long time but never really experienced it myself. Then all of a sudden last weekend I started to get nothing but them. Is this what MM is like for most people? It's horrible! Was there a big sale on CS:GO on some key site somewhere?
Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot of smurfs playing at the moment? I'm not normally one to complain but I've done nothing but lose to people with no ranks or very low play times since Saturday. I was DMG but gone back down to MG2 since I don't think I've won a single game since then. ![]()

I'm not sure that their relationship with Cyanogen is definitely done, i've heard that it was maybe a mistake. I'm not so sure, i'm not fond of this kind of smartphone software things, i'm more into hardware.
But yea a friend of mine told me that if i want i can already have a beta of Lollipop, but it should appear officialy soon anyway, so i'm just gonna wait.
The phone is perfect (for now, 0 problem), but that's also because i used to have a Galaxy S1 that a friend lent me. It was running on Android 4.4.4 but it was lagging a lot, at the end of its life ![]()
It is a sudden leap to switch to a phone as powerful as the OnePlus One.
If you want more infos/photos don't hesitate to ask.
I'm not gonna switch anytime soon, but i love the cleanliness they had first in Cyanogen.
As per the news i heard it from him
Thanks for this. I've got a OnPlus One too. It really is a great phone but I wasn't aware of the relationship problems with cyanogen since I really don't keep track of anything in the mobile scene. Might try flashing mine to lollipop since it looked quite nice in that video.
I agree. Dust2 is pretty much veto'd every game anyway and I think Overpass has proved that new maps can really spice up the tournaments.
Thanks for this. Will probably watch through these whilst at work ![]()
Quote from SpherixAfter 1000's of notifications on my dust2 winter reskin coming from russians that spammed crappy gun skins, I thought I'd make my own crappy gun skin
Yes, that's how they look in-game :>
Haha I saw these posted on Reddit.
Very cool idea and would work well with the stickers and stuff! ![]()
Says web page not available for me. Tried a couple of browsers. Could be my works internet playing up though?

These are nice and all and I really hope they do well and shake up the console market a bit since the current next gen consoles are really lacking in power it seems.
But my biggest worry with these Steam Machines is that the common gamer might not understand the system specifications and how they might effect how well a game runs. I mean someone might buy the cheapest steam machine and buy the next Withcher game expecting it to run perfectly smooth but it might not since the machine might not be powerful enough (I'm not looked at many of the specs but this problem could occur I guess.)
I would have thought Valve would have made it simpler for people to see at a glance which games will work well on which Steam Machines so the consumer can make a more informed choice about which machine they buy.
Some colour grading system would be nice I guess. E.g: "This Steam Machine is rated Red and will play any games rated Red at 1080p 60fps etc."
Just my two cents.
Good luck to Valve and its partners though!
C'mooon PC release!
Does sound pretty cool though! Glad they're finally rolling them out next week. Might dust off my PS3.
It's also affect "The Sims" guys too
QuoteUpdate: The Sims isn't unaffected by the closure of Maxis Emeryville. EA is also laying off "a handful of people" from the Sims team at the company's Redwood Shores offices, an anonymous EA source told Polygon. We've reached out to EA for comment, and will update this article with any information we receive.
I've not played Sims 4 but I remember it got a bit of bad press just before release due to some content not making the game (swimming pools etc). I wonder if that, coupled with the huge price tag on Origin, has affected sales at all?
I guess it's kind of a good thing (for Valve) that they didn't show it off. It'd probably be better for Valve to show off Source 2 once the hype for UE4 has died down so they don't have to compete with the noise UE4 is making?
Our very own FMPONE and Volcano talk Dust2 and CS:GO.
I'm DMG currently too and was playing a game over Overpass the other night. I failed to clutch one round and some guy on my team started mouthing off saying I was shit. Then he goes "1000 hours?! Really? wtf..." Like as if to say the amount of time you've played a game actually reflects your skill...
I have improved over those 1000 hours, sure, but 1000 hours doesn't make you a pro!
Anyway, we ended up winning and I ended up above him on the scoreboard. Was a good game but I didn't say anything because I'm not an ass. Secretly I was smug as a motherfucker ![]()
