Quote from blackdogWhy should it be accepted in any game then? Just because a machine is a console, it's not a free pass on playing smoothly.Anyway the game can be easily unlocked changing a line of text so BIG DEAL.
It's not accepted though. Whenever a game has FPS locked on a PC version the internet goes crazy. It's accepted on the consoles since 9 times out of 10 the console can't even get any higher frames. If it is capable of getting higher frames I'm betting it's locked at 30 to make the dips to sub 30fps less noticeable and to make the game more stable. (A dip from 40 to 27 will be more noticeable than a dip from 30 to 27...)
Also, aren't a lot of people having massive stability and performance issues when unlocking the 30fps cap?
Quote from AkatsukiUKPoor HR departments drive me insane. SO tired of hearing nothing back and putting time into writing personal cover letters.
Back when I was applying for my first job I rarely heard anything back. I applied anywhere I felt would be relevant and heard back from maybe 5 or so companies.
It is frustrating but keep at it and eventually you'll get there.
Don't forget these studios probably get a lot of applications. Replying to everyone individually would be quite a task. It would be nice to know if you're being considered or not though, even an automated email would do.
If you are unsuccessful with any application though, do ask for feedback. I have found a lot of companies will give some feedback when asked.
Quote from blackdog(wtf is all this complaining about 30fps, when for the last 7 years games were locked to that?),
lol non of my games for the past 7 years have been locked at 30fps?? Which games are these? (I know one or two have been locked over the years but the vast majority have run as high as I could get them!)
I've got an Android so not had chance to play it yet since it's not released on the platform. A lot of people seem to be enjoying it though, is it still beating Candy Crush on the chart (I doubt it)?
Still pretty impressive it even got that high!
Just went to see this (late I know) and I was kinda disappointed after everyone was raving about it. The design of the vehicles etc was awesome. But the story was a bit meh and it just felt like stuff just kinda happened and that was it.
Some gameplay. Looks mental as usual!
I liked the look of the gameplay trailer. Would like a good coop game like this.
As Drywall said, it's being used to prove there is an interest for the game. (Sorry for a link to Kotaku, I know everyone hates it)
Love the banter between the characters. And the environments... so sexy.
I see a PS4 in my future.
By the way, FO4 PC mods will be able to be transferred over to the XBOne for free.
I've no doubt we would have seen paid for mods if the internet didn't react the way it did when it was tested on Skyrim not long ago.
Haha I would have reacted the same if I found out at home. I found out when I got to work so I had to contain my excitement a little ![]()
I've already pledged. Cannot wait!
Hoooooly shit. This could probably get me to buy a PS4 if it's exclusive. It said play it first on PS4, so I guess it's coming to XBOne and PC down the line?
Got goosebumps at the music.
This E3 has been amazing so far. I'm feeling like a kid again!
So this was announced at the Sony conference at E3 last night. I knew Yu Suzuki was at E3 but didn't expect to see this announced. Especially after 14 years...
Currently it's got a Kickstarter page which has almost reached it's goal of $2million already.

I like the addition of a voiced protagonist. I never roleplay or anything so them adding a voice doesn't affect me.
Besides, it seems really well voice acted so it's a plus in my eyes.
I'm sure there will be a mod to turn it off though ![]()
Might wanna spoiler tag that ![]()
QuoteBut yeah... fuck Olly. xD
I think this video includes all the gameplay and features shown:
Quote from blackdogMS is the only company that has a share of FB, hell how can't they get an agreement to make them support XOne?
I don't think them getting it supported on the XBOne is the issue. The issue is that the console isn't powerful enough to run games at the required resolution with a good framerate. Let alone rendering a scene twice!
In response to my video above - Microsoft will allow users to stream Xbox One games to their Windows 10 PC's and then using the Rift, sit in a virtual lounge and play the game from there....

Quote from bsrI have the 1st generation of Oculus, and I find it impressive, but I can't play more than 5-10 mins without getting dizzy. I really hope they fix that for the consumer version.
The 1st generation one is quite blocky isn't it. Personally I played HL2 or quite a while and tried a few demos on it and didn't get any headaches or dizziness. A friend of mine has the 2nd generation one and he said it was much better. I think the consumer version has a slightly higher res, so hopefully it won't be too bad for those who do get headaches and dizziness.
Facebooks has been really shit lately showing me a news story (From a site I've never been to or subscribed to) which had a screenshot of an episodes main scene. I kept telling it me I didn't want to see that stuff but it kept showing me. Now I just avoid Facebook until I've watched the episode. Not that I go there much anymore anyway.
Can't believe it's the last episode this week already ![]()
