You can make something varied color wise, and still have a depressing mood, I don't tell him to make something in pink and ultra flashy but just to add some variation because it doesn't looks like a real forest atm imo.

That looks already better ! What about adding some colors ? A small amount of yellow and blue one some ferns/pine trees can break the monotony of the scene, the amount of green is nice imo, but it's still too grey

I didn't read the discussion above, but I completly disagree here, you can't blame the religion, the single thing you can blame is how the humans use their tools and how they behave with them. I consider the religions like tools, like idk, a knive or a nuclear shell, it's not the tool wich is bad, but the use of it. A knive doesn't say what you have to do with it, it's only the person that use it wich determine if he's going to do something good or bad.

So please don't blame the religions, blame the humans that are using their tools in a bad way, i'm atheist btw.
