I don't want Battlefield to continue being an annual product, it will become tainted and redundant.

Its especially irritating because they went and made all this 'uber battlefield member' crap already. So now if I want I can be a member and get all this exclusive stuff. Although, even if I did, in a year they're going to make a new game anyways. So whats the point... here I thought they were trying to give BF3 more longevity, but I guess they just want more money.

I'm just not sure that they can do anything particularly special with a new Battlefield game next year; its not going to be on the next gen consoles, and the basic Battlefield game formula is pretty much always the same. They have added some fun game modes in recent games, but... surely they won't make something worth another $60.00 in that time? Its going to take some serious convincing to get me interested in another Battlefield.

Although... mechs just might get me... hehe. Samurai mechs that is, I'm talking Escaflowne feudal age japan or something. The classes could be: Battle Field Ninja/ Shinobi (recon), Samurai (assault), Yari Ashigaru / Spear Man (support), and Engineer (engineer). I figure every class can carry ranged weaponry of some sort, and 'vehicles' would be horses, light horse drawn wagons (could have mounted weapons), and Escaflowne style mechs ftw (these mechs could have flying and ground versions that function much like tanks and jets). :derp: by Escaflowne style I mean mechs that use essentially medieval weaponry: swords, axes, claw hands, some of them use extending metal blades for cool ranged attacks )

I stopped dealing with CoD a ways back, my most current CoD game is the first MW (CoD4). I had the chance to play the most recent MW3 with some friends recently and I honestly just wanted to play my older CoD4 or Halo3; they are SO MUCH MORE FUN.

More on the topic of this new one: I'm glad to hear that they're trying something different, but I really don't care for it so far. I'll be playing my Battlefield 3 and wait to see what else is new when it comes out; I'd probably rather buy a new IP game than a new CoD.

    Bones

    Adventure Time

    Kitchen Nightmares (NOT HELLS KITCHEN)

    Game of Thrones

Uh, now I'm drawing a blank; I don't watch much of that "TV" stuff these days. Mostly I watch Anime, and most of these shows I watched via the internet / Netflix.

HmmMMmm... yea, I watched the trailer just now, and have to say it doesn't really make me want to play the mod. I just feel like I've already played Left 4 Dead plenty, and although this appears to have a different feel - the zombies are a more traditional bite and infect style I think? - I'm not sure what experience they are selling.

*Cringe*, I must admit that was slightly confusing

I appreciate the info Froyok! We will be taking in consideration everyone's preferences, although for the variety of them it seems we won't be able to cater to everyone with default controls. Probably we will make one based around the arrow keys/ numpad and one around the WASD set up.

i was in particular referring to the movespeed, it really feels like every character is taking their time with each step. i might be wrong, it might just be the animations... but it doesn't seem that way.

Yea, by speed I also mean the hero move speed, missile attack speed, animations and all that. I do not find this greatly affects the length of the average game though. In HoN I actually got quite used to having matches that are anywhere from 15 minutes (conceded or completely rolled) to 1hour 45 minutes (yes I have done this, perhaps longer). I think the length of matches is primarily decided by the quality of the players and how difficult it is for one team to break down the other. So far my Dota2 matches have been short 25 minutes to 45 minutes, but I think this is because I'm playing with a variety of generally unskilled players and some rather good. HoN matches tend to run longer these days I think because most people who continue to play HoN are reasonably competent players - albeit jerks, but competent jerks - who have been playing for quite some time. Meanwhile, Dota 2 is gaining new/ newer players who are not necessarily going to be even competition when mixed with the more experienced players. When you have an imbalance between the two teams games tend to be quite short. But I do still wish I could run faster in Dota 2

I've been watching Anime! AHAHAHAHAHAhaa... ha... haaaaaaa.......

There are a handful of new shows starting up now that others are ending. le mew. I watch most of my anime here: http://%7boption%7d if anyone is looking for a good site for new shows/ episodes of ongoing series. This one has a nice setup showing all the ongoing series on the left and the newest episodes in the middle, as well as having a large library of other anime that has already finished.
