OK, I'll explain why I use XSI.
- Yes XSI mod is limited : 65000 polygons are "available". But it's fair enough for my models because they'll be always "in pieces" in order to save memory in the engine and make big structures with small pieces... You got the idea.
- Plus, XSI has a great plug-in to make trees, that is especially designed to save polys, LOD are much simpler to make with it and so on.
- BUT, I don't like how it works, so I use mainly Blender (that I don't like that much too, but it's more user friendly anyway), and use XSI to export in CE3, Blender hasn't the plugin for the moment.
