Oh trust me, I've got my eyes on that. Looks fucking marvelous. I was also expecting a lot of Martyr but after having seen the gameplay, which looks like everything is done in constant slow motion, I lost all interest.

Like I said on Facebook though, Dawn of War 3 plays fucking great. It's everything I loved about the first 2 and it's still one bloody mess of death and destruction. But I'm with you about the art direction. I could handle it in the screenshots, but after playing it (for quite some time) and seeing it in motion, it just feels out of place and certainly lacks that grimdark vibe. But the MOBA accusations are bullshit. It plays like the table top (with elite units based on points).

I played the game for about 20 minutes. It looks gorgeous, it plays very fluently and it's really a Gears game. But, that was also the problem. Because after about 5 minutes the novelty wears off and it feels like more of the same. This doesn't matter for new players but those that have been there since start, might find it repetitive pretty quickly.

Played it, enjoyed it, but I saw nothing that would keep my interest. It didn't feel all that different anyway. More like a graphical update and Titans take longer to spawn. I am curious about the SP campaign though.
