The licensing issue refers to the soundtrack and not VR ;)

21 hours ago, Minos said: Women are incredibly manipulative by nature, they will smell any weaknesses on a man and exploit them to no end, often very subtly without we realizing it. We men like to think ourselves as strong but any men will succumb to a woman's manipulations if they are not paying attention, heck, even Julius Caesar was played like a toy by Cleopatra lol.

Instead of trying to figure out what their actions mean (an impossible task), work on strengthening your intellect and confidence, so you can look past their manipulations and get them to do your bidding instead

This is so true. I had my dad over and he made a comment about how nice my wife was to me. He asked me what I had done to deserve that. I told him, doesn't matter if she's happy or mad, I never have a fucking clue what I did or didn't do to cause that kind of behavior. Women are enigma's. So yeah, follow @Minos his advice and remain vigilant!

Although, to be honest, I'm a huge manipulative asshole as well. So there's that.

Also.. the soundtrack, the fucking soundtrack of this franchise is possible the best ever for me. :D

Sorry bro, VR support is not included and due to licensing issues, there's a new soundtrack :(

Seeing that video above, man do I miss Psygnosis.

I wrote 3 retro articles this year about Doom (23 years old),Quake and Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen (both 20 years old). This made me think about my oldest gaming memory (which I could actually date) and I realized I've been playing games since 1989. That's almost 3 decades. But it doesn't make me feel old or depressed. Quite the contrary actually.

Because I was there from the beginning. I've seen Nintendo come from Game & Watch Mario Bros handhelds to the Switch. I've seen the rise, fall and resurrection of Sega. I was there to see the Society Against PlayStation ads, one of the coolest marketing campaigns for a console ever. I've watched PlayStation conquer the world. I've seen Microsoft buy it's place in the console market and grow from a poser to a force to be reckoned with. I've seen countless consoles come and go. I've played Operation Wolf on the Commodore 64 and I've seen the pc give birth to all genres, plotting the course of the industry in general and becoming the ultimate tool for the self proclaimed Master-race. I'm thankful to have been there and experience that.

I love being a child of the 80's. The music, clothes, cartoons, movies, games, etc. I love all of it. Fuck feeling old and depressed. I feel blessed, seasoned and I age like fine wine. Soon, I'll be priceless and a true gaming connoisseur.

I'm looking forward to more VR, Holovision and whatever else the future brings.

    The Last Guardian review.

Quote The worst moments are sometimes the greatest moments. For 20 minutes last Wednesday I stood by an expanse of cold water, in an ancient hall that had become home to a vast, lapping pool, and I tried to get my companion, a three-storey motley of house cat, pigeon, and other assorted wildlife, to dive to the bottom, battling the swift waters that I couldn't face, and taking me along for the ride. For 20 minutes my companion would not do as I asked. You know that part in a game where you understand what you have to get to happen to solve a puzzle, but you can't make the puzzle pieces behave? I was stuck inside that part - except, while those parts are traditionally maddening, this time it was anything but.

Genuinely: it was fascinating to watch the face, the body language, the shifting Baba Yaga chicken feet of that beast I was travelling with as it struggled to understand what I was asking of it - and then struggled to decide if it was in the mood to help anyway. This wasn't an instance in which the game was too clumsy to bring its pieces to bear effectively. It was something else entirely, something much rarer. It was an instance in which I had to try to properly engage with another creature, as wilful, playful, and easily distracted as I am. Commands came together with body language, orders with their interpretation, and the true puzzle didn't lie at the bottom of the pool, because it was right up on the surface all along. The true puzzle was: what is this animal thinking?

Actually, it was probably more like 30 minutes.

They're labeling it Essential. I was worried after all the critique on the E3 demo, but now....

No-one loves these characters more than we do, and we wouldn't do it if we didn't have the right idea. I had ideas with different characters and it didn't feel right. The Last of Us is about these two characters. All I ask is that fans of the first one put some faith in us - we're going to do right by you."

For the first time in years, I just really don't know. This year had a huge amount of great games. Darkest Dungeon, Alienation, Doom, Total War: Warhammer, Uncharted 4, Battlefield 1 and Dishonored 2 to name a few. Lowest for me is probably Doom MP and how neglected it is. The DLC packs are great, but supporting features really need a lot of work.

Don't cry because it's over, smile that it happened! Sure, things didn't go as expected but it's all a matter of perspective. When I'm reading your story, I see that you ex-wife gave you 2 children who I presume, are both healthy. Not only that, but instead of fighting over custody, you get to have them 5 days of week. There are so much fathers out there who would kill for that opportunity. On top of that, you've been thinking about your first love for over a decade and you got an answer. You know what it would be like. Apparently it would be shit, but you still have the answer. It's always better to know than to keep wondering what if?

So it's not all that grim man. The problem is that you have too much time alone to think. Nobody should be thinking too much, because it will turn even the happiest person depressed. Find something to keep you occupied and distracted and the world will turn. Trust me.
