Beggars cannot be choosers Puddy!
Just watched the trailer for Battle Royale. That looks much better than this girlie shit. If I'm forced to watch this crap than the wife is forced to watch Battle Royale with me ![]()

For Puddy:

Word! I've desperately tried to like AC because it looks so beautiful. But I find the gameplay just tedious and boring. Sure it's improved since the first one but still, after a couple of hours everything starts to feel like a choir. It's annoying because I want to like these games and I love the settings they use ![]()
I thought there already was a thread (search didn't list one). Anyway, very long Comic Con trailer:
Well Dux, pull it out because there's new fapping material:
Comic Con trailer (new footage):
Quote from PuddyWord HP, well said.
Also, it's time for ya'll to buy X-com for 10 euros, start a SP game in iron man mode (no saves) and then weep uncontrollably when your favourite trooper dies.
I put 60 hours into this game, lost 5 soldiers and still feel bad about every one of them. Still managed to finish it with an A rating for every month, no countries that left and 70% of the achievements. It's been a long time since I felt proud about finishing a game ![]()
Quote from PuddyHas Blood Dragon been a daily deal yet?
Yeah, on the second day. I bought it immediately. It's a total 80's cum-fest.
Is it me, or is this Steam sale a bit disappointing? I see a lot of repetition, no huge publisher deals and still no decent price for the Skyrim DLC. It would be cheaper to buy the Legendary edition but I already have the game. I was hoping to pick them all up for less than 10 euro ![]()
Those screenshots look amazing! Not due to the content per se, but how modern it looks and still manages to really captivate the original.
I love Steam. So far:
DeadlightFar cry 3 Blood DragonDuke Nukem 3d Megaton EditionBrutal LegendSystem Shock 2Another WorldShadow Warrior Classic Redux Got Sim City 4 for my wife and Fallout 3: GOTY for my collection (already own it on the Xbox)
Finally bought it in the Steam sale (too expensive otherwise)
If you love the 80's, if you grew up with movies like The Terminator and Predator and if your sick of modern shooters, then this is the game for you! It's been since the days of Blood, Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior that I played a FPS with such a smile on my face ![]()
Quote from D3adsIf it doesn't have Mel Gibson doing the voice, it's not Mad Max...
Also this better not be like Beyond Thunderdome because that was bollocks...
They should make it like the first film where everyone has a thick Aussie accent and Toe Cutter's the bad guy, easily one of the best villians in cinema history!
You know your movies ![]()
But The Road Warrior was the best imo.
SUMMER SALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never preorder but if this isn't the game to do it with, what is?
Going to ask 2 days of work, give my creditcard to my wife and politely ask her to fuck off to her parents for 2 days.
The gaming is going to be good.
Redux version is out on Steam:
I think HP called it. Broaden your selection. I used to play shooters like you but then I took an arrow to the knee. But seriously though, most modern shooters are crap. Diversify and try different things. Indie games can be great but are not neccessarily the way to go. This is how I do it and maybe it helps you:
Check out all the games that are announced, read reviews from trusted sources and rely on friends. Check out Kickstarter and keep up with classics games or genres that are coming back. Check out different genres and have a strict selection on what you buy. Don't buy everything and play game for game. Don't start a new one unless you finished the old one. It only lessens the experience. Soon you'll find a genre or a theme or whatever you really like. For me, it's mostly horror/dark/gothic games so you've got genres like Surival Horror, Hack and Slash, RPG, Action games, etc.
Also, if you like pre 2000 gaming there's nothing stopping you from going back. I still have everything from back then (NES/SNES/N64/PS/MegaDrive) and still casually play on those systems. I even organise 'classic' nights with friends and do 2 player Road Rash or Streets of Rage. Bring the fun back mate and don't give up an the greatest hobby ever!
You mean Shadowrun Returns?
One of the Kickstarters I've been waiting for. Finally a spiritual successor to Syndicate. Not the crap EA put out last year. That wasn't a Syndicate game. Check out the trailer:
And visit the Kickstarter page:
I hear you [HP] but there are so little vehicular warfare games out there that I'm desperate for anything new!
I missed this in all the E3 violence. Did a quick search and it doesn't seem to be posted here.
