  • FIFA World Cup 2014

    This Belgium team received a ton of praise before the World Cup but so far it were two of the most boring matches I've seen. Today they didn't deserve to win either because Russia, especially in the second half, was much better. But hey, that's football. Still, I'm glad our southern neighbors have made it through to the next round. It gives them enough room to make good on all that praise

    I've played all God of War games, even the PSP ones. I've beaten them all on hard and some parts were frustrating as hell. But this last one, has a little something called "The Trial of Archimedes" which is just impossible. Wave after wave of enemies without saving or the possibilities of resupplying health while fighting a long side traps in a narrow corridor. Seriously considering letting this one go.

    No, this is just trolling. Especially since they claim that they should have stuck with the PC. Everybody knows, even I, that consoles is where the money's at. Even Id, a former bastion of PC gaming, turned to the consoles for Rage (maybe a bad example sales wise, but still). Carmack said:

    This is clearly written by some amateur fan boys with no real grasp of whats going in the industry. However, that doesn't necessarily have to mean that there's nothing going on at Crytek. We don't have an insight in the sale numbers or production cost of the games they made and how the studio is doing overall. The comment about ex employees does make one wonder. Sure, there is such a thing as disgruntled ex employees but there's always a good reason why they are disgruntled in the first place. Most of the time, it's the companies fault. Not stating that this is the case (again, I have no insight) but diminishing it so lightly would not be wise.

  • Going to the gym is like a korean MMORPG

    It's been 4 weeks and I'm at 102,7 kilo now. Which means I gained 0,4 kilo. Raising a child, not sleeping, not working out, irregular hours and irregular eating (the easy way, take out) does that unfortunately. It's hard to remain disciplined and my goal of 100 by July first is in jeopardy now. So, I have to find a way to get back on track!

    Same here dude, same here. That's why I stopped with the first one. But then I came back to it, really took my time to learn it and read about it and once I understood it then it became second nature and it was actually quite good.
