I've been reading up on reviews and it's doing pretty well. Not great, but decent which sounds a whole lot better than what I saw. Maybe it won't so bad after all. Not that I have my hopes up. Just trying to inform the people who I might have left disappointed after my earlier comment.
Yeah, it's really up to the player to keep combat interesting. You have a lot of toys to play with, but if you keep doing the same thing then yeah, the combat sucks.
The game does have one of the best realized worlds I've ever seen in a game. The graphics are so so, but the unique art style and original interior design give it a refreshing look. Plus, everything has a logical place making Talos 1 more than a mere game world. It looks and feels like a functional place.

You guys obviously have a far better perspective on things. With Macron being a banker, I don't expect the people to suddenly be better of. In fact, after having seen The Requiem for the American dream, I lost all faith in politics. But, having said all that, I'm still glad that people didn't go for hate. It's 2 in 2 so far and that gives me hope for Europe.

I've played for about 3 hours and I'm now terrified of everything. I'm constantly hitting stuff with my wrench to make sure they're not Mimics. Trash can in the corner? Whack it. Oh, it's nothing and I feel relieved. But then the health pack on the ground next to it attacks me and I have genuine jump scare. Seconds later, my desk light flickers and I instantly smack it against the floor. Great game!
My wife is 5 months pregnant and we have to go to a party. After every dress that doesn't fit the mood grows darker. I'm feeling like Frodo who is slowly approaching Mount Doom.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is a fantastic movie. It's been years since I had so much fun watching a film. I just kept on laughing. But besides all the comedy, the movie has a lot of heart. Each character has a nice emotional arc and this is a fantastic universe that I can't wait to explore more. Seriously, for me, it crushed everything the MCU has to offer so far, including Civil War, Iron Man and the first Avengers. Yeah, it's that fucking good!

I went to see the original in the theaters again on Alien Day. It was an amazing experience to see it on the big screen again. Even after all these years, it still holds up remarkably well. Ridley Scott recorded a message for the fans and had a little surprise for us. At the end of movie, we got to see about 10/15 minutes of Alien Covenant. The contrast couldn't have been bigger.
The video above was shown as well. Great way to totally kill the mystery. Plus, as if Shaw would go to sleep letting David run around after what he did. But she is rewarded by him infecting the Engineer home planet. Cheap way of copping out.
What we got to see was so terrible, that an audience of die hard fans, simply walked out. About half of the audience just left. Some 'creepy' parts were such over the top CGI gore fests that people starting laughing. This movie is going to be so bad, it will make AVP: Requiem look like an Oscar contender.
