Bleszinski's Boss Key hires former Epic, Irrational, Neversoft staff. The new development studio confirms it first hires.

Well, this poll certainly made two things clear:

• The Core loves both Source and UE4. It's pretty even.
• The Core doesn't really love anything else

Based on the all the info we've read it's pretty apparent that a lot of it is based on the widely popular Brutal Doom. Also, zip up your dicks because it seems we won't be hearing any new Doom news untill 2015.

Asked when the game would be ready for a formal showing, Hines said 2015. The QuakeCon exclusive was a way to ensure fans that all is well at id Software.

"And we wanted ... to show something to [id Software fans] that gives them the confidence that it is still a viable studio that's doing really cool stuff, that is making a game you want to play, and is treating Doom with the care and respect that you want.

And now we're going to go away and go back to making the game, but to be able to counter other people talking about us and we're sort of just sitting here staying silent, or operating from this negative space of like, 'Oh, it got rebooted, oh it's in trouble.' All of that stuff just bothered the hell out of me."

I hear you and you are right. But perspective changes, in case of my colleague for instance, when it's your cousin and his wife that are rotting in the sun. Then all of sudden, you are willing to risk it all just to bring your loved ones home and give them some dignity.

I'm not shouting for war. There's too much misinformation going around to point fingers. We're too small to make a stand but if I was Prime Minister I would evoke article 5 of the NATO alliance. Which means that if we are attacked, which we are, we're all attacked. Then I would appeal for help to send in a minimum of Apaches and troops to secure the crash site immediately and recover all the bodies. After that, I would simply withdraw and wait for the investigative report. Depending on the results I would bring my case to the UN and do my best to see the guilty being brought to justice. But that's fantasy land.

In reality, if it's Russia for instance, we are too dependent on their gas and we make tons of money exporting to them. So we will let it slip because money has always been more important in human civilization than justice, dignity or respect.
