    Also playing with the pad....

So far the only thing that I REALLY cant stand is the map, no variable zoom is kinda frustrating when you're trying to juggle multiple side quests.

Hey folks I'm thinking about grabbing a Wacom tablet for mostly casual drawing, pixel art, and to get my hand off the mouse for a few hours a day. Basically, in my price range I can get one of the new Bamboo tablets either the small 5.8 x 3.6 inch or larger 8.5 x 5.3 inch, or a used Intuos3.

How well do these things hold up used? Is the 5.8" x 3.6" enough room to even be useful? Anyone have any experience with the consumer level Bamboo stuff?

    Dude

grabs you from a side room as you're walking down the hallway before the cutscene, and throws you through a reinforced security window, and into some computers. Adam's guts and arms get shredded from all the glass and broken computer debris, you can see how fucked up his torso looks when the bad dude picks him up and chokes him. Then he's shot in the head.

I don't how I didnt notice he got shot in the head

Also, the only old school game mechanic I can't stand are the boss fights, why do we still have these. Still....

They fixed the loading times on PC today with a patch. 2 times faster now!

    Indeed, much better!

I have not closed the game since I started it yesterday. Every time I have a free minute I sit down, grab the controller and smile. This game came out great, short of the combat, which I don't really use.

Also, if they went for 3rd-person view while on cover, why not go with 3rd-person all the time?

I actually like this a LOT in Rainbow 6: Vegas, and am glad someone else is finally putting it to use.

    Ditto

Note: If you pre-ordered from Green Man Gaming you should have, or will be getting you code soon.

I'm curious how many of you LDs, or people just working in the industry, find some modeling skills essential in landing an entry level LD job?

On one end I hear modeling isn't the LDs job, but I also notice a lot of LDs know how to do it none the less.

TF2 meets HL2 meets Bioshock Infinite? What's not to love!

What? Isn't hating on the art direction of every unreleased game the new thing to do?

Nah but really the faces urk me, they're really fuckin weird.

Yup the EDGE write up made it sound pretty cool.

I don't especially like the art style though...

At least its not a remake like the SHIT Total Recall remake coming out.

I'd rather have a crappy Ewe Boll remake than a Ridley Scott sequel.

Dick did not do a sequel or prequel, as far as I know, to "Do Android Dream of Electric Sheep?", so this is doomed to fail as far as I'm concerned. It's hard enough to properly adapt a novel in the first place, let alone add new material.

The Dick estate (giggity) didn't want to let Google use the name Nexus for their sell phone but they're gonna allow this shit?

Regarding account login, if you signed up to Crymod already, use that as your login, I was able to get in with no problems. Otherwise it might take a little while for activation emails and what not to get to you due to high traffic on the servers.

Thank you sir, time to start reading!

The Wire.Greatest TV show I've ever watched. The writing is fantastic and the characters are so likeable.

Never saw the final season but its still probably the best show I've ever seen

Finally finished Samurai Champloo, watched all but the last 4 episodes a few years ago and never got a chance to finish it. Pretty much tops the very short list of anime I actually enjoy. Nujabes and Fat Jon were crazy for that music.

Also, I tried once again to watch Madmen, am I really the only person that thinks this show is as boring as dirt. I watched the first 4 or 5 episodes when it aired originally, but this time I only made it through the second episode. Sure the acting and cinematography are great, but nothing ever seems to happen.

That age doesn't seem that off, I've been doing freelance desktop support for about 8 months now, and I cant believe how many of these old guys play Civilization and Age of Empires.

I believe there's an option for it. Look for camera bobbing or something similar.

Thanks found a mod that let me reduce it a bit (ZRP for anyone interested)

Also the Complete 2009 mod makes this game look incredible, and tax the hell out of my video card.

So just gave STALKER: Shadows of Chernobyl a shot, it seems great, but the camera shake makes me incredibly dizzy. Anyone know of way to turn this off?
