I bought it for PS3 when it first came out, fought my way up to Vice telling myself the story was going to kick in any minute, and then just gave up. One of the few games I've traded in the last couple years.

double click on the hero's avatar image. or just change the mouse scrolling speed. why would you use arrow keys for that?

Because that is what the camera controls default to.

Edit: Again, I must not be playing the game right, because I can't figure out why you'd ever want the camera NOT centered on your hero.

    The camera.

I can't seem to lock it to the hero like I could in Rise of the Immortals, and can't find a key for it in the control list. So I have to bounce my left hand between the qwerty area and the arrow keys constantly, because the camera doesn't zoom out very far at all. If the mouse gets to the edge of the screen it scrolls over, but it jerks so hard that I try and avoid it.

Also something that I find ridiculously frustrating is that I can't hold the right mouse button to continue to move in that direction, I have to constantly right click.

Also, I think it's strange that the off-shoots of DOTA have stuck to the RTS style controls when they don't necessarily seem beneficial to the gameplay, but just a hold over from the original mod.

Funny thing, I got a copy of DOTA 2 for doing the Rise of the Immortals achievement. Can't really seem to get into this though. The controls just don't seem to make sense to me, must not be doing it right.

As I said on Facebook, those are real tears... it might seem ridiculous to us, but if we had been living there, under the rule of the same man for 17 years with heavily restricted media showing us only what the government wanted us to see we would be crying like that as well.. they all believe he was a genuine leader of a great nation. What you have to appreciate is that these people have been part of a nationalist regime, in their minds NK is the greatest country in the world. Those tumblr urls are priceless

I'm not saying no one is actually crying or genuinely sad, but those over exagerated movements are just plain fake. How many people cry like that when their parents die? siblings? children? It looks like people catching the holy ghost in a baptist church, I'm not doubting they believe in god, but come on.

Yup they are totally faking it, all I see is people screaming but no tears!

Yeah that like a mob of people doing exactly what my three year old does when I tell him he can't have a candy bar. Faking,

Carmack. He was pretty straight up about the state of development for PC's and console's at QuakeCon. Plus the release of the Doom 3 source code is pretty awesome.

Im kind of losing all my interest in Mass Effect 3, seems like they are moving away from everything that made the first game good

Didn't they allready do that with the scond?

Anyone else enjoying Arkham City? Just got started and I'm loving it so far

Played the first hour and was pretty impressed. But as Skyrim has me captivated, I'll wait for the DX11 patch before I jump in.

Related to the topic of piracy:http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/10/07/opini ... of-reason/

    Pretty much this:

    Quote

I’ll buy Driver: San Francisco. But not now. I’ll wait until it’s heavily discounted next year. My gaming budget isn’t so generous that I can afford to pay full-fare for bad ports, and bad ports, delayed releases, and harassing DRM are what define Ubisoft’s approach to the PC.

":1taakv5x]Serious question, do you guys still download shit? Movies? Series? Music? Games?

Music from time to time, but even that is a rarity nowadays. Movies and TV are pretty much covered by Netflix, and free Hulu.

Steam is in fact a better service to me than game pirating, Gabe is right. I can buy the game and it's authed to all my computers, cloud saving, centralized community, etc.

Also, stuff on Steam is cheap as hell, which is what confused me about your post HP, is pricing inconsistent across regions? I do mostly stick to buying when something is on sale, but even when its at full price it's normally cheaper than a retail copy from Amazon.

I do buy used games still, which apparently is just as bad as pirating them.
