Seent it last night with my bros, loved it. Considering I had no idea what it was about and I judge movies by their titles, I thought it was gonna be a waist of time and money... wrong! It was the most fun I had in a really long time watching a movie.

I call you all newbs with lightheartedness, of course. I've always entered challenges for self improvement, so in that respect, my motives for wanting to use an engine other than source are purely selfish, so to speak.
I'm also not coming at this challenge from a level designers mindset, I'm interested in making pretty things to look at. If this turns into a map making challenge (this is MAPcore after all), I find the chances of me participating extremely slim to none, which is totally cool with me.
We have some of the best environment dudes in the industry on this board, seeing what they can do with UE4 as well as learning a few things along the way together would be an awesome experience from my perspective.

Not gonna buy a ps4 just to play this but if you newbs haven't played it yet and don't have a ps3, shell out the dough when this comes out. One of the best games I've ever played... it's right up there with half life duders.

Definitely worth it for those who haven't played it. It came free with my video card months back, I had a blast playing it the entire time. I even had a hell of a time playing through co-op with one of my broskis. Awesome game fo sho!
