I just tried one of the space missions.
It's probably the worst gameplay I've played this year. holy shit it was bad. i am impressed with how shitty it was.

i love that movie
Quote from FroyokWell, I have found this "making of" not interesting at all. Just management, "bla bla" and so on.
I have seen better behind the scene/making of than this one.
that is sad. if I remember correctly, the oblivion making of-videos were pretty in-depth (as far as making of videos go) and interesting.
but it can't be as bad as the mass effect 2 "making of". jesus fucking shitchrist it was nothing but marketing crap. completely worthless.

Why doesn't this game support steam cloud (save games)? Of all the games that have steam cloud, this is the only one that truly needs it.
it gets worse
if he doesn't have much experience playing games from before, then maybe he should start with something like L.A Noire. there are some things in games we take for granted (navigating in 3d space, aiming) that can be pretty difficult if you're new to games. would like to recommend portal 2, but he would probably get stuck and hate it (if he is new to games).
skyrim would probably work. if he gets stuck he could just do something else. besides, playing an elder scrolls game for the first time is amazing.

Quote from Rick_DGAME DESIGN!
actually, yes. this is the kind of game where you can beat bosses without leveling if you're good enough.
but if you're not that awesome you could just level up to make it easier for yourself.
Are you a caster or melee? If the former, just roll between the rocks while casting spells. If that doesn't work, go level up some more and try again.
Quote from TaylorHas anyone done The Stormcloaks questline? Is there anyway I can avoid attacking
no.
Quotebut, it returns to normal right after you have completed it.
you could just refuse to do the quest. the quest rewards aren't that good anyway. stormcloak questline was for the most part boring to be honest...
is there no merchant with more than 800-900 gold? selling stuff is such a hassle in this game...
lol! nice screen
Thief seems like the hardest "class" to play. I have both my mage and thief at level 25 now and there's a pretty big difference between the two in terms of difficulty. I don't know if it's because I've happened to do more low-level quests lately (started on stormcloak questline), or if it's just because mages are stronger. I found mage far more fun (perhaps because of variety) to play than thief, despite having all the awesome assassination/sneak and archery perks on my thief.
The questlines seems a bit shorter in this game. I finished both thieves guild and dark brotherhood in just a few hours. and another thing; i hate it when the dark brotherhood members
Quotegets switched out with generic initiates. they don't have any personality
. the same goes for companions (but they're pretty much useless as mage because of friendly fire).
why did people think it was tommy vercetti anyway? because he has dark hair and wears a suit (in that one shot)?

does anyone actually like the new blinding mechanic?
on some maps there's so much shit going on with the street lights, the sun and your team mate's ridiculous searchlight-attached-to-gun blinding you in the face it's impossible to see anything half the time.
i just want to know if i can unlock sunglasses.
I'm having the same issue I had with BC2, the game goes into a full freeze after 5-6 mins of play due to a realtek integrated audio card. This was an issue in BC2 as well, but it was never fixed and carried over to bf3...
I can't find any way to submit a ticket or mail about the issue. I guess I just have to make a forum thread and hope someone reads it?
ps: if you are having the same issue. the workaround is to disable your integrated audio card in bios. doesn't matter if you are using the card or not, the game will still crash.
What exactly does it mean to represent a platoon? I noticed it says representing when I'm joining a server, but I don't notice/see any difference?
