very powerful to watch as I've had to overcome the same issues as the protagonist with stammering/stuttering (although I partially "solved" it with my own help). I'm pretty sure it's a powerful film for people who don't stammer as well. the scene where lionel and bertie first meet is one of the best scenes i've ever seen.
looks super cool. i think I should overdose on something that puts me in coma until spring.
i'm guessing the relationship between the father and the kid is jesse/walter-inspired.

I meant that ending, yes. The reason I said last boss is because he's still the last boss (i think? at least gameplay-wise). which made it very confusing. sorry!
just finished the game with the true ending. at the last boss:
when he shot himself the bullet went through his head and into mine... had to restart
edit: on second thought; why should the last ending be the "true" ending? just because it's the last one doesn't mean it has any larger role than the other two. i preferred the first and second ending and felt it resonated more with the message the game is trying to convey. third ending was pretty unsatisfying...
this game left a really weird, almost uncomfortable impression on me. which is totally awesome. i rarely "feel" anything at all when playing most games, it's usually only my left brain enjoying it because there's no emotional investment (because the story, setting etc. is shit).
there are some exceptions every year, like this year it was portal 2 and journey. and now hotline miami too.

i've more or less decided to buy the dev kit. I think the price is pretty fair and it would be worth the price anyway considering the potential awesomeness.

Have anyone here tried this? I read some previews and most of it sounds pretty good, except for one guy who experienced nausea and dizziness (!) while using it. Hawken is supposed to release with support for this device. Would be really cool to create something in UDK then be able to "be" there if this works as well as they say. I'm always skeptical of this kind of hardware, so that's why I'm making this thread. Any thoughts?

The scene
where older-Dano (protagonist's looper friend) is fleeing and they're gradually removing his fingers, limbs etc. is going to be one of the most memorable scenes I've ever seen. incredibly intense and unsettling to watch

Fly is a filler (and almost a bottle episode). They're not pretending it to be anything but a filler. I think it's one of the best fillers I've seen on tv. I don't see why filler episodes are inherently bad. They can contribute to the characters and the relationships between them (which i think it did).

is "dumpmovie" the command that dumps a screenshot for every frame? in that case, is there a way to specify where it's saved? I'm running UDK on a SSD disk but i don't have the space for 30-40gb of capture.

I'm wondering what's the best option for recording in-game UDK footage, if you want the highest possible quality?
I've tried fraps, but it made the environments look way too dark. I know there's a new Movie Capture-feature in UDK now, and IIRC it doesn't output that great quality. Are there any other options? Maybe I'm wrong about the movie capture. It's been a while (5-6 months) since I tried it.
