Sounds like you do "Development Director" kind of work mixed with a bit of "Producer" stuff.
No idea how to make a portfolio out of that though... Perhaps you could scout some linkedin positions for high profile companies and see what those people have as a background so you can compare what you're missing. I doubt a portfolio is super important for positions like these, experience leading teams in a commercial context is probably n1 followed by business degrees although I doubt every producer I've been in contact with had a degree (or common sense xD).
If you're leading and steering teams to deadlines and finishing work I'd say you're doing great. I doubt you're gonna get first hand advice from people that do this line of work on this forum though since we're further down the production line but most of us have dealt with those kind of managers so perhaps someone else will chip in.
Cheers!

At my parents place. Even though I have internet access and could download any of the indie games I bought during the Summer Steam Sale I'm playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 instead like there's no tomorrow xD Yups, brings back my childhood.

Damn you guys work out a lot!
I only go once a week, which day depends on what is going on... I stay around 70 minutes and do a full body workout. Not really taking any more weights, I've been at this same level for about 2 years now... just stagnating. I'm pretty happy with my build and weight although it's nothing spectacular either. It helps that I don't really like eating and have a fast metabolism. I definitely could use a second day for cardio cos it's healthy but I can't be arsed

I probably should get a trainer to re-evaluate my exercises cos I kinda made my own workout and been at it since forever xD Just using the gym at work, couldn't be easier! I've tried going to a huge gym but it was too impersonal...
PS: If anyone got a routine for a 1 day-a-week workout please post it! Would like to see how it is different from mine so I can switch it up a bit

Mapcore is starting to feel like Lifecore xD

Just sell your duplicates and buy them on the community market. Way easier and doesn't require human interaction xD

I bought Maxpayne, how did i miss that lovely game ! Didn't thought i would love the gameplay so much

Wait... you're supposed to play the games you buy? Damn I've been doing this sale all wrong
Thought it was all about the cards! -
"You have spent approximately $104.26 USD in the store since the sale began."
At first I freaked out a little but I got 13 games out of it so I guess it was a good deal
But shiiiitz, time to call it quits I think xD -

There's a new one in the making? Guess they want to release it around the same time then? I noticed Warner Bros uploaded that gameplay trailer so it seems likely? I guess it's not such a bad idea in that case then.

Guess I shoulda posted this in an Eve Online thread since it became sort of longer than I anticipated but we have none

Eve Online is a slow game that rewards patience, it doesn't help that most gameplay/tasks are sort of dull and don't have active gameplay. The combat is clicking on stuff, navigation is clicking on stuff, and pretty much everything is like that... you're sorta just managing stuff. You're a space manager not a pilot, like a commander giving out orders instead of being the guy handling the joystick of the spacecraft
(the lack of a cockpit experience isn't helping there either).Exploration can be fun and Planetary Interaction seems like it could be as well (haven't tried it yet) but I don't know... The whole design of the game makes it so everything is super far away from everything, it feels like the whole game is a metagame. Most of the fun comes from what you accomplished, the 2s after you spend 2h doing something.
I really wanna like it but it's just not cutting it for me (just played for 2 weeks after 3 other trial accounts spread over a couple of years). I want to have fun in the moment and Eve Online throws stuff at me at a too slow pace, I just don't have the time for it.
I also find it hard to immerse myself in the game, the backgrounds are really low-res
Docking, looting (opening cargo) and all interactions (or lack of interactions actually) also break the illusion for me. A space center where you get to interact with other people would be awesome. This again, make it feel like I'm just selecting stuff to happen rather than it actually happening...What I do like is that you need to read up on a lot of things in Eve, I like that knowledge gathering process. I wouldn't really call the game hard though, just a steep learning curve which makes it inaccessible, I just wished tasks were a bit more challenging and more gameplay-ish. Not a bad game imo but I can't continue playing it for the moment. I'll likely renew my subscription after I finished all the stuff I bought in the Steam Sales, then it's probably winter and super depressing so I can lock myself up and play it some more

Just Cause in the desert.
Haven't seen Mad Max so I don't know what to expect. I wonder if the name will actually do much for them since probably not a lot of people have seen the movies in the target audience.

The only thing that's keeping me from being even more hyped is that it's not a procedural environment. I would love to get lost in space.
I'm happy someone finally can make a decent space game after years of failures. I've been checking the genre for quite a bit and not too many spectacular hits unfortunately

Black Prophecy was a massive failure, Jumpgate Evolution seems like it's abandonware....There's another game now called Star Conflict but it's a F2P mess so it seems. I really hope they can pull this off, I've been waiting for a game like this!

It kinda sucks to play with the controller. Mouse and keyboard is way better for this game, thumbsticks are just too slow for that kind of movement.
I wonder if the majority of people that complained it was too hard played on a controller, then again... That's no excuse for the devs

Playing a shitton of Magic 2014 lately!

No dude, it was on the flash deals, I got it for 20$.
Aw shiiiit, must've been asleep then
But it's €22,49 on my screen now. I wonder if they actually get a bigger discount than the default one when they're on a flash sale? Perhaps it's just another trick to get you to buy stuff xD -

Finally bought FC3, I was waiting for a good discount on it!
Can't wait to give it a go.But Far Cry 3 is only 25% of right now?
I want a bigger discount, no I DEMAND a bigger discount... I'm a gamer, I deserve it!Am I doing the entitled gamer thingy correctly?
