The main issue with dwarf fortress is the menu system tbh. It is just god awful, takes real dedication to learn it properly.

Sorry Peter Molyneux is insanely over rated. The claim that he is solely responsible for bullfrogs excellent games is full blown wrong. If it was he would have made a good game since it's demise. He hasn't.

I can see there being issues with the readability of not being able to go into the seating area. I generally find those half height barriers are pretty weak physical blockers.
