Saw this this morning, the author said all scenes were running around 60 - 80 fps, incredible renders, this is truly what i expect when i hear next-gen.
Solid move in VFX community for this guy ![]()

Quote from Nz-Nexushave any of you played zombie panic source? its better then this game
Imo No More Room in Hell is clearly better than both.
ZPS is just a PVP game, while NMRIH focus more on cooperation and has a survival aspect where one bite can kill you and you have to wisely use your ammo. Also, I like that in NMRIH you have to complete objectives and "puzzles" to progress. I remember playing with friends, onone of the few maps, we were dying every 10 metters, but every 10 metters we were learning a new tip to finish the mission.
And this is what i blame Dayz for, a bit, it's just a huge PVP map with no end game. Of course you could find a Roleplay server and hope for some background, but it won't fill the lack of gameplay this game suffers. I would like (other than good perfs, lots of well coded AI, good inventory et controls) some side missions like rescue civilians, defend base, safe town for trade, more puzzle in cities instead of linear paths. I guess it's not the aim of Dayz anymore, but i wish a game like that exist.
Quote from PogoPI bet you purposely go 10 times a month, in all your game dev swag, just to piss him off!

Let's all go indie and make our mapcorean game.
Joke aside, I would really like to start a personnal project with other people.
Me, every time i try to launch that game.
"NO REFUUUUUUUNDS !"
Wasn't expecting anything and didn't knew anything from the comic, but it ended it's a very cool movie : good writing and filming !
Had some good laughts and shed some tears, not a single flaw from my perspective ![]()
I'm working from home for a very tiny company : i have only one colleague and one boss. We make skype call every 2 days or so. We are developping for mobile with Unity.
I know my colleague is a decent programmer and is doing a good job bringing our boss thoughts to Unity, but my boss is something else : he do not care about gamedesign, designdocuments, he do not even know how a video game is made etc... He is just here, paying us to copy games that made some companies billionair... At least he is nice. All our games were failures at some points because we didn't take the time to write on paper the game design docs, including market analysis or any shit that any serious dev company would do before starting a projet.
My jobs consist of doing all the art (chara, env, direction, setup in engine, riggng and animations, sometimes sounds, fx, etc...), finding some tech solutions and helping on the gameplay side.
I don't really enjoy my job, first because i don't feel i'm part of video game industry and because our games are very generic and bland. Also I don't like working from home, I would love to find a job near my location as Env artist, but jop opportunities in Paris are mostly for seniors (Quantic, Don't Nod, Spiders...). I miss to talk to colleague in front of coffee machine, right now i'm just alone in my flat.
Eat - work - play - shit - sleep.
When i'm complaining to friends about my situation, usually they react with this : "no public transports, good salary, stable and stressless work, doing 3D modeling all day, could be worst..."
Quote from (HP)What the hell are you saying man? lmao, some of the best games I've played, ever, were made by Kojima.
If it's not your cup of tea, sure, just say so. But that's utterly not true.
Its not my cup of tea, but this don't invalidate my point of view : this "playable" teaser is just a scripted corridor with cheap writting, i already said that I find Kojima's scenario wobly (and people whom i told so and who disagree are pretty much the ones who play MGS as young kids and enjoyed it).
No need to get mad about my words, i didn't played SH younger
Quote from PogoPSo I can't watch with sound atm. What's it about?

Partnershi with Kirkman to create a coop zombie game, respectful to the comic i think (and i really love the comic).
Interesting !
I have to admit that i'm hype by this : "From day one on this project it’s been clear to me that this is the Walking Dead co-op action game fans have been waiting for" - Kirkman
Hope we will finally see a game where zombies aren't just a pretexte to shoot and blow up everything.
Any info on the gameplay and game style ?
Oh and the game title could be "what's next" ? Like, what's next know that zombie ate us all and civilisation ended ?
Dare ! Dare ! Dare !
This looks really boring. They should turn into Movie maker. (edit : i mean, kojima, seems like to not be interested by gameplay... So better go make movies)
Also, same old recipe with for any screamer movie /game : craky noises, old dead lady ghost, little dead baby stll breathing, sick eyeballspinning in frames, gore gore gore, etc...
I never played Silent Hill on PS1, mostly because i hate screamer and horror games. They so many things you can do with horror theme, yet i don't find any creativity from this teaser.
Don't get me wrong, i like to read some Stephen King. I just can't play a game that wants to make me shit my pants with flickering lights, appearing monsters and distorted satanic voices.
At least, the engine looks very realistic.
Quote from BeckI'm the same as Puddy. Generally like my zombie games to be a bit more "realistic" and such.
I did Enjoy Dead Island 1 for a while though and hopefully this one is an improvement over that so it could be good fun! I'm never a fan of crafting silly weapons though. I know some people are but it doesn't appeal to me
Same for me, the lolz-items crafting stopped me during Dead Island 1, I prefer when zombies games are more brutal and serious. But i guess this must result from editors choices who think that gamers are too dumb to enjoy a game without ridiculous effects : Daylight seems to suffer the same syndrom, a great idea poisonned by mainstream features to please the crowd.
However it might be fun with friends and pretty well done, but i wont play it alone.
If none of you tried Deadlight, i can definetly recommend it to you : its a 2D platformer, really "simple and basic", but with an awesome execution and ambiance.
A part of me died this morning.
This is the first time the death of an actor makes me sad. ![]()
That's insane ![]()
Pyro can stay home with his ez rocket-reflect. Next level meta game.
Went to see Planet of the Apes : as good as the previous. It has a shakespearian-tragedy feeling, you know that war is inevitable but you really believe they will work together...
I wonder what about will be the last movie of this trilogy.
