And this is another study in minimalism and color from this last winter break.
Really like this one.

Red State
People say the ending they didn't use on wiki would have been better but tbh I think there was a lot more to read into in the one they ended up using. Great film anyway.

Na the remake is stand alone. Its using the Portal 2 version of source now I think.

I use r_displayinfo 0 to hide the info and then r_getscreenshot 2, thats to capture in the editor though with out info.

When the review starts with
Quoteat’s the first thing they told me to ask myself in film school.
you know you can stop reading at that point.

Can I preload yet

Sort of wish it was going to be a "serious" film. Looks good regardless I expect reviews will be shit though for some reason.

Really like the documentary thing too, going to be well worth backing just for that.

Over $550,000 though what people forget about Kickstarter is the cut they take and then Tax.

I don't know for sure how it works in Crytek but as far as i see it, environment artist makes assets to populate a scene/level, and level artist or/and level designer puts the scene/level to life
It sounds like at some studios the level designers do everything from scripting events and white boxing to scene population and lighting and at others they only focus on design stuff and artists do everything else.

Quote from The Vulture
Sure, I've started doing 3D lately but it's not what I'm currently good at or what I want to work with. I mainly want to work with level beautification, which is what Level Artists do at Crytek Frankfurt as far as I know. I've been following HP's work and I think doing what he does would fit me perfectly. Searching for him on Google results in: "Helder Pinto | Level Artist Portfolio".
I am pretty sure that's called Environment Artist 90% of the time. Level artist and Environment artist would be more or less one in the same I would think.
