Maps look really nice and interesting. Design is clean and simple to use. As you say an about page is all it needs really with a Resume. Not sure about your url though, having suicide in it might be a flag for some people.

I kind of don't understand why they don't just post some video or talk more about. Instead of out of the blue updates like that.

Isn't Sony Online separate from Playstation though even now. Not that people will see the difference or care (nor should they).

Looks like Sony Online has also been attacked and taken down.

    Gears 3 beta

Its pretty much use the sawed off shotgun to win, I really hope they can sort that out. Lag is loads better than Gears 2 however which they never fixed.

Did hear a theory that the PSN-Steam thing sent the system haywire, but that was before the weekend so I assume its been some sort of attack. They are also not sure if credit card details have been taken :/

As an extra rule, how about using only the basic logical scripting entities, brushes & effects that are shared by Hammer, UnrealEd, Sandbox, Unity etc? Universal things like logic nodes, trigger brushes, simple effects & the like, while avoiding the very game-specific & heavily coded things like Portal's portals.

I see the point because with something like portal it would be easy to built a complete level compared to HL2 or what ever. But I think people could do really creative things with the gravity gun, portals etc and it might be a shame to limit it in that way.

Kind of interested in "how" some of you guys work. I struggle quite a bit with keeping focused and often don't feel I spend enough time working on something in a day or in one session. Is there any kind of work flow some of you use, I guess its different when you work in a studio but, how many hours do you put in on an average day or work for at once?

Would be sweet if the portal 2 sdk was out by the time it starts. Not that it will though.

Like the idea that its focused on scripting rather than making something look really nice. All sounds good to me, looking forward to it.
