Despite everything you gotta agree the XBone is the best shortened console name ever.

Oh man I'm STILL playing MK9. I"m halfway through the bonus tower on vita.

There are some insanely annoying levels that use the motion controls and the touch screens but I'm getting close to finishing it then getting platinum shouldnt be too hard. This may be the first game I get platinum in.

I tried with SF4 but daaaamn that one is way too hard.

You mentioned yourself Derek Yu made spelunky in Gamemaker. Have you considered it?

I haven't used either (I roll my own usually) but the one thing Gamemaker has over construct 2 is there have been a lot of awesome games made with it.

A quick answer is that high level degree students at universities have a level of complacency that is acquired over time.

From working at a company that is nothing but doctorates and masters degree people mostly i think I can see why they get paid less.

I keep telling myself I'll get back into modding when HL3 comes around.

Have to play it at 800x600 at low everything but oddly enough that almost works with the VHS distorted look. Game is really fun.

Do you think this will run decent on a Nvidia 640m GPU (1gb I think)? The computer I have here is one of those big computer inside the screen type deals. It's core i7.

Anyways some javascript/jquery/jsexy to dynamically load the elements as well as add visual queues for navigation would truly help. Horizontal alignment is also against the norm and while fashionable it overall hurts the end user unless they are given the visual tools to understand the layout.

Was listening to how this game was made. Apparently UbiSoft told the designer "do what you want but we need it in 6 months"

Loaded fine for me. Only thing that I didn't like was the sideways scrolling. At least the mousewheel works though. So it's not a huge deal.

Ideally you would have one of those left/right arrows that slides to the next photo.

I agree and i usually dont take it offensively. Usually because it doesn't come off as some sort of attempt to speak a truth. I mean I love Kung Pow Legend of the Fist, I'll watch a blaxploitation movie, I'll sit in a room comfortably with asian friends while watching the worst large teeth bad asian stereotype comedy act. All because these don't have an end result of potentially making the viewer take these viewpoints as fact.

I've personally seen people watch this movie and actually take something away from it about Japanese people even though they've never even met someone from Japan for more than 20 mins. This movie almost seemed to be trying to push the stereotype as some sort of fact.

You might be thinking I'm referring solely to the Japanese though, it was also stereotyping Americans as arrogant people who are above the culture they visit.

I'm not really alone one this, there was a large outcry. Lost-In-Racism was born, countless people wrote papers about the underlying subtext.

This one is ok because it doesn't go too far. I don't find the movie to be overtly racist so I don't really agree with the extremist papers (Then again who ever really does?).

Also coming from a city where people tell foreigners to go home to their own country frequently then feel that they should be catered to when visiting others as a minority is not something I'm a fan of either.
