Dark souls 3
Dragons quest builders
Overwatch
Let it Die
Doom
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (technically it was released this year on ps4 :p)

Yeah sombras ult really requires the team to be well coordinated. When it works though it's awesome.

How many mapcorians are on the overwatch team?
All amazing work. I swear, the levels are a major reason I keep coming back to this game. So well made.
-
I was under the impression that 2500 is average. Is that correct?
It could very well be that I'm terrible

-
If I win 7 of 10 placement matches is that bad? Is a score of 1700 expected after that?
After getting that rank I got nonstop wins until 2100 and then hit my first loss.

Anyone else playing this game? It's a free rouguelike-ish-soulsy-weird type of game that recently came out on ps4. It's free but you buy things like coins for extra lives (kind of like an arcade game!) and I think maybe some other things.
The game is made by Grasshopper so it's appropriately weird. I think this might be the first Grasshopper game that I've really enjoyed from a gameplay perspective. I wonder if it's because their new publisher GungHo had design input. GungHo did puzzles and dragons.
One of the interesting things about this game is it has a relatively high number of different game systems. When you first start playing it's way too much information but you can also ignore 90% of it and pick it up as you go. I haven't played for a long time yet but the variety of things to do is certainly keeping it interesting.
I wasn't sure about this game for the first hour I played it but the overall weirdness kept me interested. Now that I've played a few hours I'm really starting to get into it for the gameplay.

I think they are saying they we're delinquent with their payments for 6 months but the single longest streak without payment was 2 months. At least that's what I hope they are saying. I can't imagine staying with a company for 6 months without pay like that. I did that once before (2 months) and was almost homeless as a result.

The resolution on the first 2 is a little small but the third one works :). I'll add it to the queue.
Just queued up another 2 weeks worth of stuff. 80-90% originals from my last trip to Japan. Still have quite a bit left to still go through.
Here's some of my favorites from the last batch.

I dont even want to know how old doom2 is.
I still have one game in my backlog for the original gameboy.

Thanks FMPONE I wasn't posting too much here because I was afraid I might be being rude if I constantly bump the thread to the top. That might be the Canadian in me talking haha
If people don't mind I'll be happy to post more photos in this thread rather than rare updates when I put in new blocks of stuff.

sad news, they just came out with a new game (Early access).
Just saw this when looking at my post history.
Really sad to see UFG close. The people there were really great and the teams I worked with there were all amazing.
I bought another copy of SDHD and plan to give it another play through. It's too bad SD2 most likely will never happen

Hey everyone. I've been accumulating a lot of photos from my last 2 trips to Japan as well as some local industrial stuff and have enough content for daily posts to cover the rest of the year so there will be a lot of new original (and some reblogs) stuff in the near future

Here's the first post in the series.

People seem to be loving Soldier, he used to deal 17hp per bullet, he now deals 20, which is a massive boost specially since he's a hitscan hero. I also love the feeling of pharah now, much more responsive, I started playing her a lot more.
Did you guys try the new Antarctica map on arcade? Playing 1on1 and 3on3 is a much different dynamic to the game.
Awesome. I was wondering why Pharah was feeling a little better to play.

Workflowy for lists
Voidtools everything. It's like a way better version of windows search.
I used to use evernote but it now costs 10$ a month for more than 2 devices. This is fine but there's enough stuff I wish was different that it's kind of motivating me to just program my own note taking solution. I'm also considering switching to onenote since from what I've heard it's better in almost every way.

They're not running the exact same. The cases he's talking about they're actually rendering to a higher resolution internal buffer then scaling down for better anti-aliasing.
Are there any cases of non-pro patch games running slower on the pro? If there are then that sounds like a pretty bad problem.

The pattern seems to be that Bethseda games aren't buggy as long as they aren't made by Bethseda's internal dev team.:D

I don't really hold it against them. Bethseda's internal dev team is really small for the types of games they are doing and the way they design their games makes a huge surface area for hunting bugs that can't realistically be QA'ed.

I didn't watch the video but regarding that quoted issue in isolation :
Their last game Fallout4 had a ton of problems. Pretty much all their fallout games did. I remember stories like a guy getting stuck in an elevator permanently and the solution ended up being having to start again from scratch. This was the PS4 version IIRC. Didn't Skyrim have a memory accumulation issue on ps3 that caused the games performance to degrade the longer your game ran on consoles? I've also always found the scrolls games to be buggy. Honestly after 20+ years of playing their games I just expect a certain level of jank when I buy a bethseda game.
Doom was a pleasant surprise though. The game ran perfect for me.

200 hours? It's times like this I wish I was back in highschool on summer vacation.
