I like a lot of things except how it seems to be more like a loose collection of missions then thight trilling experience.
With more emphasis on looting upgrading then clever way's to get from point A to B.
Also where does it say no weird alien weapons?

The maps in BC2 are to tight to allow a lot of clever tactics, the same go's for movement and controls, too restricted to allow for some really great things, I often find myself struggling against the slowness of my character or vehicle.
Well in Portal 2 you get to shoot portals in first person 
But ME2 is a lot better then ME.
Dead Space 2, fuck leapers.
Also loved ME2, and I'm not a fan of RPG so I did not mind when I heard they casualized DA2 a lot, but this doesn't look good:

Wait didn't UE3 have deferred lightning form the beginning, which is why it didn't have AA in dx9?
And I thought it was very optimized for dynamic since it only had those until lightmass?
I remember how good UE3 looked in the early demo's compared to the actual games .
David Sirlin has a lot of good things on his blog, although all he has done the last year is promote his own games.

I didn't like that much, especially disappointed at the graphics, very few settings and even at hardcore it looks like the old UT3 games, not nearly as sharp as Crysis, and a very low FOV.
Did enjoy super-jumping, gives you much more options for flanking, and ads cool vertical gameplay.
Demo downloaded @ 3MB per second, but I left the make account on for 3 hours and it still hadn't finished. Honestly fucking retarded making an account for a demo, and with a shitty service like gamespy that has never worked properly.
You weren't getting it anyway.
It looks like yet another modern warfare game in the middle east.
Looks like it's going to have more story focus, which is good.

Farcry still looks good and it has multiple shaders if I remember, you can turn it to look like a painting.
