Shitload of tweaks (including disabling all the startup movies):

Like the little robots, don't like the game having only like 3 enemies.

Escapist review:
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/article ... Torchlight
My opinion:
Animations are good, graphics are very nice cartoony and atmospheric, think all the things you hated about diablo 3 x5.
It has inventory management for you folks that like tedious mechanics, but you can put items in your pets inventory and have the pet sell the loot in about 30 seconds, for people like me.
Imps are great, think ultraviolent gummybear like squishy chimps of death and destruction.
When you die you get a choice between ressing right there for xp and gold penalty, ressing at the entrance for only gold penalty or ressing at the town for no penalty.
Your character picks up gold just by walking over it. Map can be displayed in the right corner or in the middle like diablo. You have no healthregen, but your pet does.
You can go fishing, and feed your pet different fishes for different effects like turn him in to a spider. Frankly for 16,- euro's it's instabuy.

If you don't have a ps2, then get it. I got mine in 2006 when it was cheap and had a hell of a library. Hell it still has more good games then all three current gen consoles combined and for 100,- you can't go wrong. Buy the time you played all the sweet games the ps3 will be a lot cheaper.

to crate or not to crate
Also bring it out for PC.

Wait are you saying, because the assets like houses or whatever are made in external programs you have less to do in the editor, can be less creative, and have to rely on other people?
But see the thing is, if you can make a house in hammer, radiant etc.. you can also do it 10x faster and easier yourself in a professional 3d app like silo/sketchup/max etc.. I came from fucking around in max to hammer and was horrified by how cumbersome everything was, and the fact I couldn't easily import anything from max. To me these new editors are great because they allow you to bring everything together and test it so much faster then before. And as an amateur I love them for how much easier they make my hobby.

60 euro's = 89 dollars

Will trying it out be free or will you have to pay 60,- to "try" it out?

Quote from Section_Ei8ht
QFT and LMAO. I pirated a ton of games in my day, but have since given it up. I'd like to say that it was because I didn't have the money, or I didn't want to commit myself to a game without making sure it was good blah blah blah... but nah, I'll say it, I just didn't want to pay for it because I could get it for free. I buy all my games now (have for the past few years now), and yes, whenever I see a classic on steam that I played but never actually bought, I pick it up on steam.
But anyway, back on topic. If IW was really concerned with ease of use for people and getting rid of that "confusing server browser"... why not just make the matchmaking thing default, but still have an option to do things the old fashioned way? That way everybody's happy. It's not like server browsers are hard to code.
Also, Rick_D's post +1
Then you're a tosser. I've pirated and bought plenty of games. In fact pirating made it much less risky and way more affordable to enter gaming. It has given me a lot of power as a consumer, afforded me to try original games and buy them if my budget allowed it. It makes the large sum of cash I pay upward for hardware worth it, considering I don't work for IW and have more money then god. It allowed me to find old games before steam and gog were there. And that's only games, not talking about movies/books/comics/tools. And it has done so for millions of people around the world. And all at the cost of what? Having those industries still grown, in case of gaming unprecedented growth.
And I consider it a curtsy towards good developers to pirate before buying, so you never make the mistake of buying a shitty game with good marketing instead of a good game.
And last I heard the moddable 360 still has more copies per console sold then the PS3, http://kotaku.com/349058/microsoft-movi ... er-console

Love Claudia black, got more exited for dragon age when I heard her voice. She's up there with Cam Clarke and Jennifer Hale as far as I'm concerned.
On that note Tim curry and captain Janeway are also in dragon Age origins.
-
Now make screenshots in CE3.
-
Yup, and it still sold like only 1/10th the copies on the xbox. But what I do not understand is why console gamers don't demand more, I mean a lot of things that make online suck on console are not inherent to the platforms, like dedicated server support. When you sell 10+ million copies on a platform, I would expect you want to please your customers that much more, and I would expect the customers to look at the PC and ask why they can't have that.
-
Game is apparently not delayed, supposedly on 420's twitter.
But it has no dedicated server support.
