I absolutely loved the game. It's a lot of fun trying to get the jump on your prey and I can only see it getting better once I start to know the map layouts and weapon behaviours better. The score multiplier is a nice touch since it makes you use a variety of different weapons. The bonus rounds are insanely fun as well, I enjoyed Hunt the leader a lot, since I was the leader.

REC, 24 days later and it's sequel, 24 weeks later, are good if you like zombies.

Wow, that's some seriously neat assets you got there!
Keep posting!

Thanks guys, it's difficult, especially since my dad has a new girlfriend (who I haven't met and don't want to).. Part of my reason for the Russian is because I feel it'd be good to learn a new language, add something to the CV too.
My condolences mate. The best thing to do is exactly that, life goes on and although loved ones will be fondly remembered, they would want us to live on and be happy.
Also, despite we being all "virtual" friends, we are friends indeed, I also have another "net family" over at a gaming community and they have helped me get through some bad times in the past. -
Mapcore, a dating tips community
But seriously, number one rule is to get out there... anywhere... and don't create false expectations. If your social life involves no women, you need to make some changes. Go get dancing classes, go learn to play an instrument, get a little bit more social. You don't need to be mac daddy. Also don't make it about you, it's not finding someone for you, but letting someone find you.
It's more or less like this comment I read about compettitive starcraft: "most of the newbies play too defensively because they are simply afraid to lose. Once you aren't afraid of losing and go out there, you realize that it wasn't that much of a big deal and start improving, taking more chances and eventually getting a win or two."
Just take what you can learn from zerg rushes and apply it to dating.

The free content is still going to be available... maybe there will be fewer releases due to a mix of people trying to come up with better models (good thing) and others thinking that not releasing it will increase the odds of valve selecting them (not true).
So if you want to replace all the sounds with your voice, have dildo knifes and reskin TF2 with resident evil characters, by all means do.
As for levels what I think they could implement is a kind of community voting/rating system and simply make the commitment to purchase the top ranking custom levels from time to time.

God! I was scared because the forum software shrank your URL like this:
I was like: wtf Layoffs??????
On topic: It's the usual Valve cycle now: Announce/Release something, get rage across the internet, soon later everyone is pleased and can't live without their products.

Pre-ordered yay can't wait!
I'll also be bragging about it in the studio "see this game? I know the guys who made it" and proceed on telling the epic story of the rise and launch of The Ball as a Mod and commercial release (and I'll probably make them buy your books as well, I'm a good salesperson).

Aquiris will be giving a keynote with the post-mortem of the Unity Bootcamp and *maaaaaybe* show off a little bit of the FPS we are working on...
Unfortunately I won't be attending the conference... someone gotta stay behind and make some levels

But if you guys get a chance to talk to Amilton or Mauricio, they know the engine inside out and should be able to give a LOT of advice. Drop my name and you get extra credits

Yay, well deserved!

Thanks, that was an interesting read! I hope things turn up for the guys!

Well, making 3.8 mil he didn't really need the job, I guess he must be super happy with his work.
I would XD

Very impressive guys! I sent the link around the studio here and everyone was really praising the game for it's awesome graphics. Exploring the city is a great thrill, very inspiring!
Little details like the girl drawing the robot's shop on the ground and the overall attention to detail make this a winner!

Well game is alpha ¬¬ but still he could just make it so that all torches are replaced by lanterns with the update as a default.

Hopefully somewhere you can really shine like Edward!
