Great work so far, but I think you need to sort out a few things.

I think the cracks are overdone – unless this is a cracked vase that has been reassembled and glued together later. Also, the way they are made right now it looks more like deliberate scratchings over the vase other than actual cracks from broken pieces.

As for the texture itself it looks pretty good, but the cracks really detract from the overall piece.

Also, maybe you could fix some of the round edge normal problems in photoshop?

    Keep up the good work!

I think the objective might be to try and keep all doors similar, as in, no spaceship giant hangar bay/door nor an ancient stone door in a buried temple.

I agree that a more loose definition may be beneficial to this cause.

    Great work!

i'm not sure what direction you are going, but the window frame texture is a lot worn out, while the wallpaper and wood trim are very neat and clean. It's the only thing that really caught mu attention at this point really.

    Keep it up!

Would have been cool if we where actually going to get it more than a few hours in advance. Really like what they did with the ARG but an unlock today or Sunday would have been something to talk about.

The most active members of the Arg thing flew to Valve HQ to play Portal 2 early.

All these Args have some sort of high-end prize for the most involved parts.

trying to play Bioshock, but the thing is so plagued by bugs its becoming almost unplayable. I've had the game freeze on load menus, not respawning or loading after dying, controls becoming laggy for no apparent reason, crash to desktop and I lose all my custom keybinds...

When it works its cool as candymountain... but damn I'm almost giving up in frustration!

so if you bought any of these games before, you still get the levels?

Yeah I played trough the Ball levels and the defense Grid ones. Both are awesome and bring new gameplay mechanics to the games. The ball one is particularly good since you get to see a lot of the new assets Valve has created for P2, like the moving panels, they are really cool and bring a lot of different gameplay possibilities!

I think the current name is perfectly fine to be honest.

Yeah I wasn't very clear on my previous post, I like Skyrats. It is a nice parody of Seadogs, switching Sea to Sky for obvious reasons, and dog to rat because, as much as we love her, Annha is no dog! She's skinny and steals petty change from everyone she meets. She's a rat... a Skyrat!

Sexy Back research is kinda cool

Skyrats is cool as well, but it lacks the epicness that the demo promised. It felt very "Zelda: Ocarina of time" to me, so maybe having a subtitle, like a chapter in a series, would add to that?

Skyrats: attack of the random dungeons for example =P

    Congrats man!

Don't take it too hard, they know you are just starting and will have compatible expectations. Do your best and be open to learning from the more experienced people and you will be amazed by how fast you'll be fully in the team.

They would not have hired you if they didn't think you could do it!

    Hearty congrats!
