I've liked the game so far, however, I have a pet peeve: Zombies do not break doors down and simply "forget" about you as soon as you close a door in their face.

Also, I've gotten to the city part and damn.... difficulty ramps up! There are now consistent groups of 5 to 7 zombies to fight at a time, very different from the lone wanderers you usually find in the hotel and surrounding areas.

this is pure hardcore madness shit, how could you work there ?

Didn't have much of a choice. All I had was that crappy notebook and the cheap tablet.

I upgraded about a year later:

And now I use my insane door desk. I still don't have a second monitor, but I mainly use my PC at home to play anyway...

I actually worked in this for a couple years:

For gaming, this was near perfect, and the chair was extremely comfortable despite the looks. You took the wooden plank the keyboard and mouse sit in and put on your lap:

You should ask about a good russian desk, if you want an in-depth analysis with pictures, links and dissertations.

    Hahahahahahahaha!

I'll get a picture for you guys to see the monster.

It's the sturdiest desk I've ever had. Seriously I could climb on top of that thing and jump up and down and everything would be still in the same place as before.

And it cost like half of one of those flimsy desks you'll find on the market.

My setup: I purchased a plain sturdy door for cheap and two strong trestles. Then I glued and bolted the trestles under the door, used the doornob hole to make the wires go under the table and it sits flush to the walls. Covered it all up with a rubber mat nailed to the underside purchased at a fabrics store.

Strongest, biggest and most comfortable table I have ever had, on the cheap.

Anyone else had an issue whenever you open up the map, your mouse goes haywire and acts randomly, even after I close the game... Its made it unplayable for me and I have found no solution for it online.

Well I found the shooting and running very satisfying... I don't know... I'm starting to think I'm easily amused I loved the fact that you don't need to constantly reload. Also, this is a run and gun game akin to serious sam, since there is no need for cover if the enemies don't shoot, but rather try to hack/ram/suicide on you =P

Shame the demo is so short... But I played it at least 3 times to try out different weapon upgrades.

  • What are you playing now?

Finished Rock of Ages, from Ace team. Quite a funny game and the art and thought behind it are excellent. However I wish it lasted for at least double of what it was worth... maybe if the doors had double the resistance they have.... still they might have playtested it as such and found that it didn't work.

maybe the fun is in the multiplayer. I tried playing with a friend of mine overseas and the lag made it unplayable. Local multiplayer might work for normal people though.

Loved the demo, out on steam now.

The various weapon modes can be confusing though, I guess you get used to it with time.

Also apparently its possible to kill people with the tranq gun, especially if you shoot them in the head.

That explains why they drop so fast =P

Still, got to try "Foxiest of the Hounds" and "Pacifist" some time.

I was going for pacifist, and kept with it until the end of the game. However I didn't get the achievement. My 2 guesses are either that one enemy died because of the robot explosion after using and EMP on one of the big robots or that one of the

That's the guy... I managed to kill him using hit and run, but he would still one-shot kill me because I have not purchased any of the armor augs and healing items are so scarcely found, so the battle was a continuous loop of loading, firing a few shots, loading etc.... the only weapons I had at the time where the non-lethal ones, a fully upgraded Heavy Rifle and the Laser Cannon, none of them seemed very good, the heavy rifle without the recoil reduction augs is a piece of shit as I found out, should have kept a shotgun instead...

Also, finished the game, 32 hours for me. Awesome game, will definitely play it again soon.

I don't know how you guys are doing it but I don't feel like I'm going slow, I try my best to get ghost, but I only managed it two times now (no reloads after being spotted). I'm not actually reading the emails and books though... only the odd newspaper.
