God - why are the sound effects in GTA games so bull - they better be replaceable fairly easily, the guns sound like bloody pea shooters. GTA games are all about power and awesomeness (that is a word ) and having crappy gun sounds just throws that whole feeling for me.

On another note - the graphics are no impressive, but that being said they aren't bad. They won't make your eyes bleed unlike GTA SA.

For College I need to write and publish a questionnaire and collect the results for it and what not. So if people wouldn't mind filling out this questionnaire I would be very grateful, I need as many results as possible.

But are they are on the same resolution, Slick? Because as I've just pointed out, the difference between 1280x1024 and 1920x1200 can be over 30 fps.It could also be drivers. I use the latest Crysis-optimised ones from NVIDIA (169.04), but a number of people probably aren't.

True, I didn't take that into consideration. Some people seem extremely adamant to have 100% highest settings and then complain when they cannot run them. Especially in a game like Crysis where it has tried to future-proof itself (as seen with these ultra settings).

Crysis seems to have allot of compatibility problems, yes it works, but there seems to be a random chance that it'll run on your system, even if said system is extremely high end. Two different machines with extremely similar hardware capacity seem to be getting completely different frame rates.

And fingers crossed its one of those strange games where the super high setting actually gives you better FPS (its happened to me before).

This is a great idea, I wish I could help but I'm not much of a texture artist or modeller. (not finished anything).

Post over at game-artist.net, they may be more helpful or willing.

I agree Thrik. I'm surprised its so all over the place. I hope they basically finish it off and update it.

I hope after EP3 they will write a new engine a with a new editor built from scratch. As long as the editor works similar to hammer (I think Hammer is one of the easiest and yet powerfulest editors about) it would be good.
