The "publish" button is what "cooks" the map into a more streamlined format for the engine to work with once the game is running.
So you'll have a .ut3 map file to work in the editor with, and another "published" file for the game to read, which is un-editable.
In basic terms. ![]()
Sounds like a completely accurate description of how it works to me.
Yep.
Forza 2 is great.
It's just that you have to put quite a bit of time into figuring out how each car handles to do any well (in my experience).
In other words: its very much a simulation game, maybe not as much as GT though, haven't played that much.
Sega Rally if you like arcade racing games.
The Darkness is ok.
Remember there are loads of arcade games you can trial for free and retail demos to help you decide. ![]()
I have an xbox 360, I don't see any reason to get a PS3.
hahahahaahahahahahahah oh my god ![]()

I used to play this quite a bit with friends over lan, so I can relate to its retardedness. It was actually quite a fun and funny game tbh...
But this video is possibly the funniest thing I've seen all month. Thanks! ![]()
edit: by far the best feature was this bullet-time cam.
Someone should do a speed-mapping video.
Guys, the demo only includes half-res textures to keep the filesize down, the textures in the full game will mostly be 2048x2048 beasts. D:
I think they only outsourced assets.

I haven't played it yet... nor do I particularly want to.
Yeah I am doing pumps, I've managed to pull off the line correctly before, just not gotten enough points. Just need to keep practicing I guess. ![]()
This game is sweet, but very frustrating. Haven't played it loads (got other games to play too, and work) but I pretty much agree with everyone else's thoughts on it.
I'm at the Plan B warehouse trying to do the vert challenge where you need to grind along the top of the bowl section then fliptrick out of it and get 800+ points. ![]()

Needs a "get off the damn board and walk up the steps you tit" button. I'm sure they'll add that in the sequel though.
Well to be fair, they do span five different games.

Quote from MinotauroThe problem with the lit windows is that they are too bright... they draw so much attention that when you try to look at the surrounding buildings your eyes just can't stop staring at them
Thats probably it.
I think having it too realistic (as in not being completely sure you're going to flip the board enough) would just get really annoying in this game. The way it works is just about right, imho. Steep learning curve, but still challenging and fun when/if you learn how to do each trick in the game.
Of course, I've only played the demo, but I can see the full game being a lot of fun for a long time. It seems like more of a "sandbox" game than TH ever was, and of course the world is more realistic in the sense that most things you can trick off are... realistic. ![]()
You really have to play it to get a good idea of how the game plays. ![]()
