i'm looking forward to cs:go to some extent, but surely inferno needs more than a just a new logpile?

why not play up the cut the turntable makes in the earth to surprise us with something buried under there...?

bricks/cinder block are proportioned/weighted so that a mason can lift them with one hand.
thusly, i conclude you live amongst giants. that or you're talking about bricks of weed you saw in a warehouse somewhere?

i have that reaction, too, whenever i run into a watermark.

if you've got versions of photoshop that support it, use adjustment layers. you will avoid having to remake textures.

modeling scale buildings and working in clay are incredibly more time consuming than digital modeling. however, i wouldn't be opposed to it in practice, as they're great ways of producing results that you wouldn't necessarily arrive at via digital means.
i think it makes more sense that laser scanning would be more commonly used for found/mundane objects, while spec'd stuff will continue to be digitally produced...you'll just be able to skip the whole normal/tesselation shortcutting and use models straight out of mudbox/modo/whatever.

same for me, looks like fun, but then again it is Portal with new environment,
That's a bit of a stretch. They are both 1st person puzzle games but the one is about portals and the other one is about different dimensions. The puzzles seem to be quite different.
yeah, i'm not trying to undercut it. narbacular drop was cutsier than portal, and this game seems to be reclaiming some of that.
looks fun...there needs to be more of this.

looks like they sneaked the hard rain finale into that trailer.
can't wait to see a little more of what's actually new. so far it just looks like somebody from the community came through and dropped a bunch of (well-crafted) EXTENDED maps at fpsbanana.

there is a (group) of people working with the [open source] beta 1 content somewhere on moddb. you might check that out, but it doesn't look too promising.
i believe they're calling themselves insurgency:redeployment.

my shortcuts became reliably unresponsive when i moved from vista 32 bit to win 7 64, and i don't have any controllers plugged in.
my solution is to just press every button 8 times in succession.
success.
