finally got my hands on sfxt, and it's living up to the hype. by far the most solid fighting game i've ever played. in matches everything seems to work perfectly together. i haven't really looked at the gems yet, and i'm disappoint with them not giving dlc to people that is on the disc right now (theoretically they could have just given us unlock codes for the dlc after it shipped), and that i have to wait until november to actually see whether it's worthwhile. it seems very much that they have embraced pay-to-win in this regard. which is sad, because the game is amazing.

agreed, i love games that offer a challenge, even when that challenge is table flipping hard. it's also the reason i started playing dota and street fighter in the first place, the learning curve on those games is tough love, but the feeling of accomplishment you reach when you hit shit perfectly is unmatched. a good dota match can make my day.

Unfortunately my PS3 has exploded so I'm on 360. I'm running with Rolento/Lili and, although they don’t really have any “synergy” (i.e. no long special moves), they seem pretty skank by themselves. Lili is a bit of work because she needs to force standing for her Angel Knee combos but I'm used to that stuff from Sakura. Online is full of shoto-only teams that disconnect.

Oh well, time to boot up Mass Effect 3.

i'm definitely thinking of maining rolento, perhaps with either king or marduk, since his rekka goes well into juggle combos for them both. i still have to check some of the characters though, i really want to see how hugo plays as well.

yeah the dlc part is fucked, but i'm still picking it up for ps3. hopefully it won't be that bad, although the gem system really just seems like a cash in

what if... it's actually a suicide note

22 could be the .22 caliber gun, which also fits with cans. n in spanish is close to l in sound, which means that they could be exchanged. the result? .22 cal.

at least it's much more plausible than anonymous being directed by the illuminati or some other governmenta entity

^ which is also why it is ludicrous to expect that their form of involvement has some sort of supreme leader that has the anonymous goons carry out their orders.

But Sentura, dont you understand; just because they say their snake dont have a head and that they wrote so on wikipedia doesnt mean their snake dont actually have a head.

there is no structure enforcing any part of the anonymous movement to follow what the others say. the goals unite them, nothing else. if someone or something goes against the goals, they won't join in. even all the posters for raids or protests or whatever have been heavy on information about why you should go. there is no implicit trust, and without that, there can be no leadership structure. like i said, it can at most be a cell.

well, there's no dark conspiracy involved saying that there could be groups inside anonymous that plan and execute the major strikes and that these groups are actually pretty well connected and know each other (to a certain degree). the fellow-runners and script-kiddies are unorganized, but in large, they're just followers in the crowd. and even without a clear communication of hierarchy or a designated leader it's pretty easy to manipulate or guide a group. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swarm_behaviour#People

i don't know what you mean by major strikes, the most i've seen anonymous do is DDOS websites, which doesn't require any hacking knowledge, it just requires a botnet big enough. if i was nice i'd say you're overanalyzing what anonymous is, but i'm not so i'm going to say you misunderstood the concept.

as a whole, there is no organization, the different groups that may exist may have no or little knowledge of each other (or if they do have more, they keep it incredible well hidden, which i would think is borderline impossible given the size of some of these groups), which means they operate independently of each other. they voice what they want to the public, because the public mass protects their anonymity. the direction i've seen them take has been little more than the overall "change the world", and has mostly encompassed protests (however friendly/unfriendly they may be), data gathering and DDOS's.

if there was the grand illuminati conspiracy behind all this you are implying, i'm sure there would be more direction than just this; and, given the size of anonymous, there would be people within anonymous reacting strongly against it. on the contrary, the behavior the movement exhibits seems to warrant that at most it's pseudo terrorist hacker cells using anonymous as a pseudonym.

also, 9/11 and the holocaust didn't happen yo, vote ron paul 2116!!!

oh im not trying to imply that lulzsec was the control group of anonymous. I think the control group to anonymous is probably somewhere else. although, what it does show is that there often is one (or few) "masterminds" and if you can get a hold of them they can suddenly name a lot of people and it comes to show that what was supposed to be a massive base of internet users comes down to a very small group that's really driving the whole thing.

i don't think there are any masterminds that have sovereign over the entire movement, they might, at most, have control of a cell. to claim that there is some sort of dark conspiracy where a small group of people control everything within the organization is ludicrous, considering this is what the anonymous movement is fighting against. what i have seen at most from them is a "spokesperson", but even he just belongs to a single cell.

the whole point of the movement in the first place was to not have any organization at all, and that nobody should know anybody. look it up before you talk.

lulzsec wasn't in any way a control group, or anything else than a splinter cell. sure there are a few that organize stuff in anonymous, but anonymous isn't a hacker collective, it's a collective of people who (from my interpretation) want to change the world. that they have hackers on their side, or other people who can gain access to physical/virtual information doesn't mean that they are all affiliated.

i just think it's funny that people don't know what anonymous is, yet still talk about them like they know everything. i'm not saying i do, but i've barely looked into them and even i know it's not just hack0rz doing bad stuff.
