It is partially inside as I see no other way of doing this. The planets are gigantic in size. One planet is the size of the entire available building space in UE3, and orbits the middle of the level. The space beyond that is even larger. There are no skybox'es or such.

Wouldn't it be a question of simply shading it differently rather than attempting to put it at a far distance? It definitely sounds like there's a tech hack buried somewhere that could help out with that...

Uncharted 2 was definitely the peak. I didn't feel the third coming close to even the foothills of the mountain that was the second. And this is coming from the guy who fucking LOVES deserts

I never stated it as fact. I posted it as an opinion, because it is. I'm not here to say it can't be fun for others, but it's not fun for me. Therefore I'm not going to play it.

I LOVED Diablo II and Diablo II: LoD, and they're still up there with mythical status for me. Diablo III is just in no way the game I had expected from their previous bash with the Diablo franchise. But I guess that's because Diablo II was by and large developed by Blizzard North with different design principles than Blizzard Irvine. I used to go back every 2-3 years to Diablo II even after I stopped playing it, to complete challenges in terms of trading and MF to get a specific item I had set out for myself. There's no way I ever want to do that in Diablo III.

As an addendum, I already posted what I guess could be considered a review earlier in this thread, going in depth critically about what made Diablo II a great game and why Diablo III is mediocre at best. Again, not fact (as is also nowhere stated), purely an opinion. Feel free to go back and read that.

Love the first shot, looks almost like a concept art piece! Are you gonna make a video for it at the end so we can see how it looks in realtyme?

I've decided to upgrade my PC and save getting a PS4 until far more games are out (i.e. in about a year or more). I did this with the PS3 and was overall happier, as I hate that draught of games at the beginning where you're so desperate to do something useful with your new console that you play the most shitty-ass party/demo games imaginable. It's a bit like when the Wii first came out, except the Wii's games never got any better.

Soon I will be able to join the elite PC gamer brothers and enjoy some Battlefield 4:

I really don't get why Diablo 3 gets so much flak. I have enjoyed it for many many hours and well worth my money. Sure the game and some of the decisions to put certain game mechanics in are not perfect but then again which game is? The game launched with major hickups but the important thing is not that they fucked it up but how they fixed it.

They are one of the few developers that actually take the time to support the game for many years to come and to make it better. I know of no other developer that improves the game with every patch and delete or add major things to do so. I believe the new expansion will take Diablo 3 in the right direction in terms of rewards and customization.

    We shall see.

Put it simply: The game is just not fun. The core elements of the game are not fun. The environments are not fun. Whenever I play Diablo III all I get is frustrated, and that is hopefully not what Blizzard intended. So, again, why bother when there are games out there that actually figured out what Diablo III should have played like?

And the argument that no other game is perfect is void - I enjoy games for what they are. The notion of a perfect game is laughable, but if I can't even enjoy it then why in the world would I play it let alone waste money on "improvements"? I'm not here to hate on it (although I am glad that Jay Wilson is off the team), but my viewpoint is purely pragmatic. I don't want to waste time on something that I'm not enjoying, and D3 seems far from anything I'd ever want to play.

Oh yeah and this quote from the forums is perhaps the only thing that would save Diablo III (or Diablo IV)

I think there's been too much damage done to save it, and what with Path of Exile being out (and free!) I don't really see a reason to pick up anything Diablo III related. I think Rob Pardo's response to Jay Wilsons departure is strange - it pins him as the man behind the product, but at the same time the designs and implementations in the game were not his. Moreover, his statement that he wants to continue to improve D3 to become the best game in the genre... Seeing as it is already outperformed by several other games, and its core design systems are faulty - I just don't get how they will even compete? I guess the fan(atic)s will buy and or play it regardless of what it is, if only because it is Blizzard.

A more fundamental issue with the site however, is that it is very hard for the T's to attack using the main T entrances. The CT's have a lot of places to set-up, with multiple sightlines on the doors that require a large aim adjustment from the T's. I think reducing the number of sighlines on the doors, and closing off one of the T entrances - probably the one closest to the T spawn, could make the site a more attractive option. It would also harden the choke point - probably a good thing in this case, since the two doors next to each other make the area feel too loose.

Jesus christ this is what the previous iteration had, and people wanted a change because it didn't work. I'll try closing the gap and placing the bombsite above ground (and also cover).

As for A: Thanks, I can make that work

Puddy - do you think moving the bombsite would make a difference? I was considering moving it above ground and in general provide it with much more cover.

Also for bombsite A I really need some input on what exactly is wrong with it. I'm blindsided.

    Saves to config.

ps: I have read that changing jpeg quality to 100 dramatically increases filesize, but I don't mind personally.

    You can always change it.

At this point it might be better to just use the screenshot command as it outputs in tga format instead. Less fuss, more quality.
