Is the 0 explanation deliberate? Is this some sort of ARG where we have to find out about some new game? Is Half-Life 3 getting confirmed?

The Polygon PlayStation 4 Review and Xbox One Review involved an unprecedented level of coordination between the editorial and product teams at Vox Media. The goal was to create a pair of extremely high touch features to highlight the talents of our writers and video team, while pushing the envelope on longform design.
There were a lot of lessons learned, but the final results speak for themselves.

While not related to game design, it's a really nice breakdown of web design for a new age. I thought it was interesting, maybe there's a few of us who can use it.

I beg to differ, D2 had much more environment diversity than this. I don't see what's bad about it being a Sonic themed zone either - I want to see something new every act, not sit in the same thing for yet another act as a player. It's a motivational force to explore, and if I'm just going to be stuck in another act of what looks like the same then that motivation disappears.

In other news: On the internet, being critical of something is the same as hating it.
xD
I get this a lot =(

But given the choice to make a completely new act that you could place anywhere in the world of Diablo 3, why choose it to be right next to where act 1 was made? I understand that some merit might have been given to the thought that Westmarch has been a previously unexplored part of the world up until now - but then why wouldn't that be part of act 1 to begin with?
It's just stuff like this that baffles me.

All I'm saying is that dark, gothic and brooding does not require a single dark blue/green color palette. Act 4 was awesome in terms of color because they dared create something interesting. With this new act, I just can't see how you can justify this because of the new Diablo style. For me, more than anything, it serves to diminish the distinction between the acts more than before. It's a shame, really.

Man the ion cannon does not nearly pack enough punch like it should. I think the best ion cannon they had in any of the games was in Tiberium Wars... that shit was so satisfying to use. I mean look at this, it really shows how it is a weapon of mass destruction:

Other than that, it looks like the previous Renegade game. I guess it's going to be OK, like the previous game. I think if I wanted to see C&C in a FPS perspective, I'd take a gritty version where tiberium becomes the main obstacle/enemy as you clandestinely attempt to infiltrate hidden buildings in the first world, along with _some_ bases in the third world. This just looks to be Battlefield with C&C.

What? Act 5 is a whole new act, with whole new art.
Comparing this:

with these:
It seems awfully similar in terms of color and art. Even pandemonium looks like it could be a part of the rest of westmarch, which is just weird.

So act 5 is essentially act 1 art again? ... Why? Do they not like exploration of new environments?

Just completed the newest DmC. Really surprised how faithful and how well crafted the story was. Gameplay could have been tougher as it definitely felt like the easiest DmC, but it really sets the game up well for a triology. I had my doubt about Ninja Theory before as Heavenly Sword wasn't exactly the best game ever, but they really came through on this. Mad props all around, easily a 9.5/10.

Eh I usually don't notice a lot of detail during movies, I just see them as a whole instead. Sometimes an actor does good stuff and I can see that, but for the most part I can enjoy any movie (unless it's full of shit like Skyfall).

Invest in transhumanism to become part cyborg, live another 200 years, wait for space travel, get newest transhuman tech, go on a generation ship, profit?

I never saw the appeal in WoW. I could pretty much tell I'd be burned out fast before even trying the game. Then again I was used to a higher caliber of MMOs before that, like DAoC. I went back and played DAoC a few years ago and it was still rock solid. I don't know many games that have similar lasting appeal. Here's to hoping this can bring that appeal back: http://camelotunchained.com/en/

Great stuff =) How about that video now

I didn't think the first Hunger Games was that bad... I liked the concept of it, as well as the environments. I guess the story also kind of made sense (especially at the end). Then again I watched it as in flight so I might have missed some or most of the dialogue.
Also: Chainsaw, usually when people capitalize all letters it is meant as an abbreviation...

Nobody's going to talk about how excellent the new POI episode was? You guys are missing out on some grade A material here.
