Escape Plan is honestly a solid 6.5-6.8 movie. Arnold is awesome in it, Sly feels a bit miscasted but having these two together makes up for all the flaws

It's more like between 6.6581 and 6.7899, duh.

I have a problem I can't find a solution for anywhere on google...

I need to delete the shortcuts Photoshop stores by default, preferably every single one of them.

Alternatively I need to be able to overwrite keys in Photoshop... which doesn't seem possible (PS won't overwrite them).

I'm thinking voltage/PSU. If you have access to a spare PSU, try it out to see if it works. I don't know how new your PSU is, but it could definitely be a sign of a PSU dying.

Reminds me of this gem: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1376466869/lore-0

Check the comments, it's fucking hilarious.

Best thing though? He tried before, asking for $1.5m... which is STILL ONLY half of what OP is asking. Check it: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1376466869/lore

To OP: Unless you are a programmer/designer/artist god all in one, I would just straight up forget about making this happen. I'm not even going to wish you good luck in case I only have a finite amount of luck to wish upon others, and would rather spend it on projects actually just needing that luck.

  • Buying a house and the games industry.

I guess if you're sick of renting it makes sense. I couldn't ever even think of buying a house myself though, it seems like a bad investment: I also think that you (we) are still young, and it might be too early to get tied down for buying a house just yet. The world is huge, and should be explored. Be that through jobs or travels, it's all the same.

My personal advice would be to think it through and don't paint yourself into a corner with a huge investment. There's plenty of time to be old later.

I guess I didn't mean to come across quite so sardonic but let me throw in my 2 cents (lots of spoilers... sorta).

Both movies begin with the origin of a king. The first about Leonidas, the second Xerxes. With the threat of war looming, both protagonist try to rally an army but are met with some kind of resistance to waring with Xerxes forces. Without other options they take a much smaller force to set a defense and are challenged by waves of enemy attackers, and included in said force is the protagonist best friend and son (over whom there is a debate to whether or not he is ready to fight). However, by implementing superior tactics they overcome the onslaught of enemies and gain victory in battle a few times. After losing several men and a couple of commanders (including executing one of the failed commanders themselves), the antagonist summons the protagonist to try and come to some kind of peaceful agreement that entails servitude as a general. It doesn't work. Infuriated the antagonist sends out a massive force which finally causes the protagonist and his force to take a number of casualties, and ends the father/son relationship by killing one of them off. Without any other options the protagonist sets out on a suicide mission in order to defeat the antagonist by their own hand. In the end the Persian army is faced with a united army formed be several of the city states who have finally come to an alliance.

I think that pretty well sums up the "samyness" of the two movies. There's definitely intricacies there, particularly in the politics, but the plot does run a very similar overarching course.

Like I said. I enjoyed both films but because of how the overarching plot flows, that really isn't that surprising.

While both movies showcase two kings, they hardly play the same role during both movies. Xerxes isn't even the main antagonist of the second movie, and act more as a minor character. The focus is on the naval battles between Persia and Greece, along with the subtle fight between their leaders. By contrast, there was no subtlety in 300, and the interaction between the kings lasted at most a few scenes.

300 was a movie about how a force became almost unbeatable against a Goliath of an army until betrayed. A battle wherein the underdog succeeds throughout the movie, but finally falls at the end. In the second movie, the underdog fails throughout the movie, yet finally triumphs at the end - not due to war effort, but due to war politics.

Besides that, in war, battles have their ups and downs, and the small second wind Themistokles gets through tactics and the small number of boats/soldiers his army destroys is nothing compared to how well the 300 did, slaughtering practically thousands of Persians.

So yes, both movies are about war, both movies have kings - apart from that, I'm having trouble seeing your comparison.

I thought it was great honestly. The battle scene choreography was excellent, the subtle war between the leaders (which manifests especially in the control over who actually fucks who in the sex scene). Well played protagonist and main antagonist, well fleshed out story of how Xerxes came to be. It's far from the same movie IMO, it shows much more appreciation for subtlety and the intricacies of war politics while still showing the brutality of war in practice.

Well worth seeing, and a worthy successor to the first.

Yeah no, that's a false assumption. You assume they'd only put mines on their own soil, yet what they have essentially done is invaded a country already. What makes you think they aren't going to push mines there? The border doesn't stretch further than 5-10 km into the country at its furthest (counting sight ranges etc. Anything beyond that would be fair game, technically, and would still count as being close to the border. And as far as I can see it isn't actually Russian territory but rather still Ukrainian soil. Given the legality of the situation is way beyond crime level already, I wouldn't put it past them, but then, I have no idea whether or not it is actually true.

Also, here's what's going on in Kaliningrad: http://gazetanews.pl/wiadomosc-21-r…e_i_niemcy.html
