yeah it's much heavier. and somehow it just doesn't feel like it has as much vibration as the dualshock 2. i dont know if that's just me, but i remember there being much more "bite" in the DS2.

...is it only £10? i was thinking, "damn, i wish i had the money to buy this right now", but if it's only £10, i'm definitely getting it. about time there is a proper racing game for the ps3

i think it looks pretty awesome. the only complaint i have is that there's something missing out on the horizon. no natural scene would ever have an empty void out there. at least put some buildings or terrain out there so it covers it for at least a bit.

yeah, this is some pretty spectacular concept art. i love how they actually made gifs out of some just to show what some things are supposed to do and the constructive criticism based on screenshots contra concept art. as dux said, if only the game was as good as the art.

a most interesting point of view. the world being such a huge part of the game, this sounds extremely lacking. i wish i had the chance to play the game prior to buying it if it really is like this. don't get me wrong, i love fallout and its universe, but if it's just an empty environment with alot of generic monsters, i might as well pick up halo or some other shitty fps and play that.

The outcome of the review is already known - he only reviews stuff he hates or finds mediocre. I would hardly classify it as serious critique of whatever the subject is, shit's just supposed to be funny.

either you're just not listening to what he's saying, but he has recommended games before, so your argument isn't really valid.

Yahtzee is a wonderful entertainer, but he's a pretty terrible reviewer.

He's not going to like this anyway, he's already made a reference to not liking the current development team.

each to his own. i'm not saying i follow his advice through and through, but he does have some good points. different people like different things, and in your review of the reviewer, you too are biased.

This is how the new management team brokered their own team, and at the same time quietly took Tiberium out back and put it down, so they would not be known as the owners. They got field promoted to captains, then sunk their damaged ship, so they could take their new titles on to a fresh vessel, and killed all the witnesses.

great plot for a movie right there

how about making it an option for each individual user, with the new forum layout as a default? i reckon you could keep the old design by letting thread creators add keywords to their threads or some such. not sure how much work would be involved.

a step backward? since when do we distinguish between more or less advanced structures here? if anything this simpler step is one backward from a fully fledged forum. either way, implementing a subforum for each would still keep the look simple while allowing users to selectively browse forums.

ah, who am i talking to. nobody is listening anyway.

i dunno im not feeling the vibe here sorry. i used to do some selective browsing, picking only forums that had a bit of my interest. now that it's all clumped together it just seems like i am omitting the 'creative' forums altogether.

Fuck off people pirate as a form of protest!People pirate software simply because they'd rather get it for free instead of paying for it and anyone who says differently is simply trying to justify stealing to themselves or others.

If you decide to pirate something, its your own damn choice, I'm not going to lecture you. But don't try to justify a criminal act by claiming its a form of protest. That's just stupid.

i never justified it, stealing is still stealing. what i am saying is that regardless whether legal or not, it is a form of protest. in fact, you said it yourself.

And my point is, unless given a valid context, it's not.

fact is that most if not all people had enough wealth and were given enough service, they would not steal. ergo is stealing a protest. in our specific case, this holds true: if johnny had enough money and service, he'd not pirate; thus making stealing (or in this case, warezing) a protest against a) prices and b) service.

again you're saying the same thing. i'm not giving the average pirate any credit at all, i am just assuming he downloads something for free, an action which is in itself a protest. you're thinking of protest as in some sort of boycott. johnny is thinking that he gets it for free.

Yes, I basically reiterated my point.

Saying "I'm downloading this because if I buy it I have to put up with DRM" is a protest. I don't see how someone downloading something for free, for the sole reason that they want it for free, is a protest. It’s just stealing, and should be labelled as such.

but even stealing is a form of protest, which was my point.
