never said i disliked it.
in the future we won't vote for political parties, we'll vote for game industry publishers.
Quote from PogoPPlayed this a while ago, very atmospheric! I love these kind of games. Why do they never apply such immersion to mainstream games?
well i didn't get immersed in it, or at least not in the degree i have been in games in the past. i think the problem lies in that not every game is immersible for everyone.
it was no doubt a good show of art, but at the same time i could see the gameplay get tedious over time. i think the best games are those that manage to blend exploration, atmosphere, fighting and puzzles in equal amounts.
i think i came when i saw the first two pics. i get a stalker-ish feel from the second and third pic, which combined with the first would make for an excellent 3d representation of the fallout world as it should be (fuck you bethesda, your environments suck).

Looks like a valuable read, just though I would post it incase anyone else is interested.
THANKS!
about time. we're already 5 months into the future, i expected this shit from day one
Quote from Warbywow that "don't look now" game legitimately creeps me out O_X
yeah wow, i hadn't watched that trailer before. jesus h christ.
Quote from CampaignjunkieHa, I was interested in the MSc program at ITU, but then decided against it. Cool stuff they're doing, though. "Don't Drop the Baby" or whatever its called looks kinda ugly / less graphically polished but probably the most fun and original.
how come you decided against it?
Quote from SpicyTanukiI still feel in regards to the design and art, Doom2 is still the best ID game (for singleplayer, multiplayer I give that to quakeworld). I'd love to John, John, Adrian and all the old team get together and make a game about demons, space marines, spooky sound effects etc
only if john was a zombie
happy birthday, helder
or guns or rennaisance inspired buildings
awesome, i dig the style
oh man i gotta try that game just for the hell of it
part of my nature
Quote from SkjalgI did, actually. You said it yourself that you rage-uninstalled because you couldn't handle a boss.Besides, it does save state when you go up and down portals. But monsters regain health when they get "out of combat" afaik, which probably happened when you died (read: failure).
it reset the dungeon.
yes, let's not give any merit to the posted statement and base this entirely on the person posting it. oh wait, that's discrimination.
Quote from e-freakmake sure you have all tasks done and no deadlines ahead because that game will probably suck away every second of your time, irrelevant if you're supposed to work or not. it's the best hack'n'slay rpg ever made!
that is so not true. it's so easy it's retarded. well, except for the last boss who is insanely fucking hard, and it doesn't save when you go up through portals/waypoints. i had him down to 5% life, but i died. when i got down there again, he was at 100%. i rage uninstalled after that, haven't touched it since, and couldn't be happier. i would honestly advice against playing torchlight.
the best hack n slash game is still diablo 2. i doubt diablo 3 will make any difference.
