How do i replace textures in HLS with other textures? program and guide anyone ?

Hey ive downloaded a program called VTFedit. Im trying to replace the medkit chargers. But why no luck ? anyone can help ?.. Using the charger images from this thread.

Thanks but already tryed that. And its very limit in the fact the there are so very few textures in highres. So if anyone here got all those from this thread why not convert them and put the pack online ?

Well can you put them up for download or something ? like 75% of the files doesnt exist here in this thread anymore. Would really like to run some good old HL:S with new textures the mods on the net only got new models offcourse thats a start. But would be cool with it all

Where can you download all these textures and how do you use them in HL:S ?
