It would, if the door was static. If the door opens, then it wouldn't work as it would still block the light.

That's why I love next gen!

Maybe try to ask in this community, which is more "ID" games related: http://www.levelmakers.com/community/index.php

the camera is annoying as hell. how is it that hammer has the best camera available yet everyone else has their own way of doing things? is there any way to change to the camera in any program to match the one used in hammer?

Actually, I found Hammer viewport camera pretty annoying! Although It's not nearly annoying as Radiant!

It's very hard when you're modeling your assets on your favorite 3rd party geometry modeling, then you come back to the editor and the camera controlers are completely different, you found you'r self using hotkeys from the wrong program, etc! [Blocked Image: https://migrationtest.mapcore.org/public/style_emoticons/default/mapcore_smilies/emot_shakehead.gif]

Curiously, almost none of the programs out there, both game editors and modeling apps, don't let you customize the way you control the camera! In fact, the only one I know of, is XSI (The one I'm using right now), it even let you choose a 3DsMax like controls, Maya or the old softimage program default keys, pretty amazing!

I really like the SandBox2 viewport navigation controls, because It's pretty much like a game, you use the WASD or the arrows to move the camera, UnrealEd controls are not bad either, but they'r far from being perfect.

Oh well, I guess it all comes down to getting used to, and once you get used to a specific control set, It's always hard to migrate!

Well, initially I was thinking on making the flash gallery with a size of 800*600, mostly because some of my old work is around this resolution!

But, I decided to opt for 1024*768, that way optimizing the site for 1280*1024 monitor resolutions, which I believe being the most used resolution nowadays for the "target audience" of the site. (Although, the monitor resolution standards for website design is 1024*768)

Also, most probably my future work (Crysis maps screens, renders, etc) will be much bigger in image size, so I can easily send it to the gallery, and they can be enjoyed at a fairly high resolution, so yeah I made it 1024*768 thinking on the future.

Oh, and I'll see if I can do something about those bad quality thumbnails, I guess i'll have to tick off the "compress movie" on the export settings, I hope it wont get too big in file size.

    Thanks for the feedback guys!

Acumen, thanks for giving me your opinion mate, curious enough some guys told me the same, they prefer simple HTML pages instead of this flash galleries.

I myself don't mind browsing through flash galleries if they are well structured and simple to use, I guess It all comes down to persons taste!

Nevertheless, I had to pay for this script, so I guess I'm gonna keep it at least for a little longer.

    hey guys.

    http://www.helderpinto.com

I just renewed my website, take a look and please drop some c&c in here!

I believe the old version didn't focus enough on my personal work, so i decided to port the gallery to the very root of the site!

    Cheers
