Free version not available in my country

It's worth even paying money for it imo. Will probably do that since its not free in germany either. On the PC it basicly replaced mp3's, last.fm and youtube (for music) for me. The sound quality is very decent for streaming (160kb ogg), music starts instantly (faster then mp3 from a hard disc) and the catalogue is huge (still some holes in it tho tbh but it gets better and better every week).

it's not available here on germany yet, not even paid.

Yep, I definitely agree with the last 4 comments!

UE3 can be an awesome engine, if given to the hands of good artists! Look at Mirror's Edge!

Anyway, awesome stuff minos. What's this for? Just practising or planing doing a map?

    Nice shit moroes!

I agree, if your making a competitive map, you can't have way too dark areas. Look at map prodigy for example!

See that button in between "Speed" and "AI/Physics"? The red and green one? That's what you need to click.

or press "Q" to toggle terrain cam collision.

Should I be worried about degenerate face warnings on enemy models?

Yes, that's kind of a pain in the ass sometimes, but It's a warning so, for now, don't worry about it. It shouldn't affect how your object looks in the game.

You probably already know this, but http://www.crymod.com/ is an awesome place to search for this kind of specific questions about ce2!

There's always unofficial software emulation, last I heard that's going pretty well.

how is that possible since there's no way to run homebrew on PS3?

You can however, download most of the awesome ps2 games on the ps3 web thingie.

You have downloadable PS2 games on the PSN store? I know you have some PS1 games, but there's only like half a dozen of them!

    Quote from Thrik

Depends on the PS3, confusingly enough. Sony basically did a U-turn on its policy, going from literally having the whole of the PS2's hardware and thus perfect backwards compatibility in the original PS3, to having none of it at all and thus no backwards compatibility in later PS3s after the first big price drop.Removing the hardware is how they managed to drop the price so much, incidentally. I'm guessing this slim version and lower price is just as much a delayed consequence of no longer needing to squeeze a 'PS2' in there as it is the ability to make the hardware fit in a smaller area.

Yes that's true, but software emulation is also another possibility, but they wont do it, not for now at least. Because they still sell a lot of PS2's!
