    just tried it.

It didn't blow away my expectations. the gameplay is exactly the same as the other 2 titles, which is, i suppose, a good thing.

i really dislike the graphics, it has a really "dark" theme to it, and over the top contrast. textures are very very pale and monochrome but the epicness of this franchise is still there, and the game is fun and gory so it's a must buy for every ps3 owners. Will probably get the 3 GoW pack in may or something.

Are you allowed to change the materials from the roads on that project of yours? If so, open the material for the concrete road, and tick vertex colors ON, so it fades out on the tip of the road-tool. (You can specify how long the fading is, by adding more points to the road-tool, use ctrl + left click where you wish to add a new point, on road editing mode)

Either that, or place the concrete road beneath the dirt road, and tweak the "sort priority" values, obviously put something like 1 on the concrete and 2 on the dirt, so the dirt gets on top. (You can have until 255 btw, this is useful to play with sortings on decals and road tool)

Even with this, it might need further work, like put some decals on top of the blending area to disguise the blending even more. I don't see any decals in there yet, use them as much as you can, they're awesome!

Nope, no crouch and no lean, but I never used lean in a FPS before anyways. But not having crouch is seriously retarded...

Actually there a mix of both, health regen and health packs.

You have a health bar with 3 small bars on it, if you get hit and the damage takes say 1 bar and half, it will regenerate the second small bar only, if that makes any sense. Health packs will regenerate all your health and you can only carry 3 with you. (At least on hard, the difficulty level I'm playing on)
