Apparently it's a rumor... but damn, I was so looking forward to this game, and this can be bad news if it's true.
Any project that needs years to be made, and we don't even get a release date, can only mean a really problematic development, I guess this is the proof of it.

I endorse the previous post! Something along the lines of Corwins articles!

knj, I envy your awesome ability to learn and progress like no other!
You do, you learn, you listen to feedback, you get better, and repeat the circle. Like any talented artists should do.
Really good stuff!

I still don't understand how come it's cheaper to order a game from Amazon than it is to buy it from steam, shipping included.
And same for music, an album on itunes is typically more expensive than if you buy it of amazon, and guess what, you get a shinny CD with it.
I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for that, or more than one, but I don't see the logic in it, you should pay less if you're paying for download. Especially since it's so freaking easy to just warez shit.
-
Serious question, do you guys still download shit? Movies? Series? Music? Games?
I have NEVER downloaded a game again, since I started working in the industry. Which was my first job ever, so from there on in I could afford for my shit, before I couldn't.
I still buy retail and steam, although steam not as frequently cos It's almost always more expensive there (funnly enough)
As for Music, I don't need to since I listen to a lot of podcasts, I do buy a music album every couple months, not as much as I should tho. I never use itunes becase, again, too expensive.
Series... well, I do download them. You could still watch them for free on TV, so I could argue it's not exactly piracy, plus germans dub everything so I have no way to watch it, not even on TV. Also, I do buy the series I love to rewatch. (I own all the series of House, 24, lost and... I think that's it)

Dude no joke, I met hurgs wife last weekend, and she's a grumpy whore, I got pics!
-
HL2 is a richer game than HL1 is, it's just your nostalgia speaking dude.
But the same could be said about old games and recent ones.
-
I found Hurgs wife wandering around Frankfurt in the other day, she kindly posed for Mapcore, so enjoy everyone.

Dealing with the Catalyst issues is slightly better than dealing with the performance issues of a low quality Geforce.
Aparently it isnt. Where have you been in the last year? There's been shitloads of complains regarding ATI cards and recent games. I have an old nvidia 9800gt and I've played DX:HR, Rage and now Skyrim and I have yet to experience a crash.
I could not run Bf3 on this card tho, it's way too old for that engine, but all the above games ran fine, shoppy FPS but fine and unproblematic. Nvidia for life, ATI is ruining the name of PC gaming more than it already is.
