Lmao, keep playing, as you go up in the league and weed out the beginners, you'll be matched against better people.

    So, I have a question...

Since this whole vote is obviously about immigration, wouldn't it be easier to just create stricter immigration laws in the UK? Why do something so stupid like detaching your country from the umbilical cord for many industries?

Quote So this is how we approach it, because that is a really good question. At its heart we knew that we had to make a real Quake game. You play the game the same way. Now, we have passive abilities and we have active abilities. And we know that people play first person shooters differently. Some people love the strafe jump, some people don’t rocket jump, some people don’t use air control, and some people are more aggressive or defensive.

So you could pick a character that has some passive abilities, maybe one that’s a little faster, say, that fit with your play style. Then you take that active ability and that’s what you use in specific situations, but it doesn’t change the way you play Quake – which is important. And we were nervous to put the champions into the game.

But we have a testing lab at id and we had PC-only Quake Live fans come in and we’re like, ‘Here you go, play it!’ And they really embraced the champions, they felt like it was additive experience – it didn’t detract – and they actually said at the test, ‘Yeah, you need even more’. And they gave us some ideas of different abilities different champions could have, so we felt good after running some tests through a lab.

Alright, finished the game last night! :D

What a fantastic game, things really pick up after Act2 in every regard, gameplay gets more interesting and mixed, the story really hooks you, you start to feel attached to the characters which makes it really hard if not impossible to put this game down.

If you're gonna give this a try, know that this game feels more like reading a novel than playing an action game. So, careful with your expectations, I kind of wish I knew this going in and I would apreciate the first few hours of the game even more. It's kind of hard to explain, but let's just say the story is the main pillar of the game. You're going to be watching a lot of cuscenes, not including the live action show and you're going to be reading a lot of optional e-mails and pickups you find in the maps. (These are optional, but I'm very glad I read them all, this game has some seriously good writing, Sam Lake is a fantastic writer)

Also, the game got patched a few days ago and the PC version performs much better thankfully.

I also like that this is one contained story, they're not going to do DLC for this. It's one package, and everything is there from beginning to end, I also apreciate that the ending is very satisfying and fulfilling a-la Max Payne and not like Alan Wake that ends in a needless cliff hanger. Speaking of Max Payne, (minor spoilers ahead)

Spoiler Quantum Break in many ways feels like an homage to Max Payne, in the way it plays, the way it tells it's story, the way you feel attached to the characters, even the pacing of the game and it's locations. You play in the docks, car park garages, alleys, and in the final level you need to make it up a gigantic building owned by a evil corporation! :D)

If you play this, try and pay attention to the details. Remember this is a game about time traveling so some things might turn out to be something else. :D Overall, great game! Can't wait to see what Remedy does next, they're masterful storytellers.

Yeah, I for one am glad it's not f2p anymore. Say what you will about f2p but no matter what, you need to design your game around trying to grab money off of people constantly, which can work for some genres, but for a game like this I prefer a boxed game.

There is another large publicly traded, tech/consumer company headquartered in the Seattle area with balance sheet to buy it...but I forgot the name of it and it's possible said company wants to compete against Xbox and has no interest. But this is all speculation.

I'm sure this said company have their own plans for a gaming division / home console tho, and knowing how much of control freaks they are, buying a company and completely changing it's structure would probably be more work than starting from the ground up.

It's fascinating what's going on with Xbox right now, amazing how a platform that was last gen's leader is now in the verge of either detaching itself from Microsoft, or worse. We'll see what will happen in the next 12 to 24 months, but something tells me they're going to get their shit together, and slowly make the Xbox more of a cheap PC that you can buy for your living room. (I mean, the Scorpio has some pretty good hardware for a $300 box) even if I think they made a huge mistake by announcing it to the public a year and a half before it's supposed release....

I do love their move of going open and releasing their games on PC, i think long term this is going to be a decision that's going to favor the Xbox brand immensely, even if I absolutely hate that "Microsoft’s Universal Windows Platform". It's like 1 step forward and 2 steps back with this company... fucking hell.

Add a indicator to show the range of the passive health/ speed boost, or present how many people are being actively affected[/b]

[/list] Being able to see how many teammates you are buffing at any given time will help for Lucio players to be more efficient in play as they know their passive ability's range and can ensure that as many people are within it as possible.

Lucio has a number under his crosshair, this number represents how many people you're buffing at that exact moment.
