    I'm experiencing some occasional hangups while posting on forums, namely this? Where nothing will happen, and then after a while, everything I've typed will just pop up on the screen. Smilies stop rotating and whatnot too. It's possibly due to the spellcheck.. Or it just doesn't like our smilies :X

    Still a sexy browser though.. But if this continues, I won't be able to cope :x

  • Go! Go! Go! Bionic [Commando: Rearmed]!

    Completed the game a few days ago (sunday), and almost done with all the challenges. Haven't had much time since monday. But it's really an awesome game, and true to the original. The game itself wasn't all that hard, but it was a whole lot of fun. The challenge rooms, however, are stepping up to the plate a bit. And it's awesome I've missed a game like this for a while now. Good job!

    Oh, and I also got all the achievements you can get in one playthrough Time to play the game on hard and super hard!

    (Also, I'm posting this through chrome and I'm getting occasional hangups where nothing seems to respond???)

    Congrats Arttu Sorry you didn't get the job, I really had my fingers crossed. But at any rate, this kind of experience is invaluable, and I'm sure it'll help you on whatever else oyu might be doing in the future (and now), as well as being a tremendous help on your next potential job interview. Also, they practically paid you for this, so it really was a win-win situation

  • Duke! The most weird trailer, ever?!

    Uh, while not 100% sure of this, I'm pretty sure it's a joke made by gametrailers.

    First of all, I haven't seen the trailer anywhere else.

    Secondly, it's poorly made.

    Third point being they blatantly stole the music from Chris Kline a.k.a vertexguy, who made his own, very recognizable version of the song. I recognized it instantly because that's the exact same song I used to practice playing the Duke theme on guitar a while back.

    Seeing as he currently has no ties to 3DR nor Apogee, and he hasn't stated anything in his news himself, the track is used without permission, and thus would not be used in any commercial way.

    You should look into gettign VMWARE for that macbook hessi. It works really well, and you can actually play games through it as well, albeit without shader support. But they're working on that

    VMWare basically emulates the windows you have installed on your other(or same) partition and you can run it through Mac OS, and - even better - as a hybrid, where you have both Mac OS and windows together, at the same time It's awesome. And a lot less of a hassle compared to having to reboot every time you want to access something windows specific.

They get rather hot, not necessarily the tv itself, but if you have it positioned in a small(ish) illventilated room, it'll easily heat up the entire room with prolonged use. I've managed to do that on seperate occasions in the winter with no heat on the radiators while watching tv-series with my dad. I'm sure that aspect has gotten better with newer models as well though. But they do generate a fair amount of heat :x

    Still though, plasmas are pure awesome. And they really aren't shortlived anymore. My mom's plasma is about 5 years now and is still excellent. No visible reduction in quality at all. Sadly, I can't afford one of my own

    AoC's launch is really smooth compared to a lot of other launches, really. Still a few major bugs though. But yeah, every launch has its issues.

    Anyway, made a second char on Crom called Anaesthe. A Dark Templar.

    It's because most reviewers won't review mmo's before it's been out a while. To get a full impression. Which is rather fair, to be honest. Most launches are shit, this one included. It'd be unfair to judge a game that's expected to last for at least five more years by its initial 5 days.

    Must say though, so far I'm really loving it

    Chris: CrazyMAC, Gorion, Jennifer and I are playing on Crom as well You should hit us up. We're currently trying starting a guild open for all mapcore members as well as invited outsiders, obviously ;o

    Nothing is certain yet, however we have created a test guild of sorts, until everyone get settled and we figure out what to do from there.

    I play as Autumn. It'd be rude for me to just hand the rest out, so I suggest you hit them up for it

    I keep getting thrown on and off, and skdr experienced the same issues when we played. apparently, the only thing that doesn't totally fail is Party Mode. The rest seem to have an embedded coin toss that determines whether or not we should be thrown off before it switched game mode. (
